@Ink_spott6 ай бұрын
Also, I hope this isn't considered *spoiler territory* for how Antipoisons work, so I'll put it below: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . When you drink an antipoison you get temporary immunity to *being* poisoned. So after you drink the first one, the immediate subsequent lockpicks where you are *dealt* poison damage from the failure, it will only being a singular instance of damage and not recurring, so drinking another dose of Antipoison while you are already immune does nothing.

Just from scrolling the comments here and it seems like they haven't entirely captured the nostalgia your videos evoke. Sure, we had guides in 2005-2006 but so much of the frustration, wonder, and excitement is captured here. I think it's best exemplified as the excitement of completing DT and using *ice rush* which is a spell I haven't seen in ages. I'm pretty sure I did that the first time I completed desert treasure. You have a rare gift in OSRS, which you're entirely aware of - that you are one of the few that either has not experienced a quest, or has not used a guide. All were really fun and engaging... but I have to say my favorite out of the 3 is darkness of hallowvale... something about the older quests is just a tad more fun. They seem to include more riddles/puzzles to solve and that's my favorite thing about questing. That being said, these new age boss fights are 1000x more exciting and fun then the older one's imo. I think DT2 is going to be a blast, although I'm not going to do it until I reach an unrelated skilling goal first. I'm not going fully unguided, but I'm trying to minimize the amount of quest guide usage when possible. I've been doing the quests in release order, and I just finished Ritual of the Mahjarrat yesterday (if it gets brought into Old-School, it would probably as a sequel to both While Guthix Sleeps and Desert Treasure II). Ritual of the Mahjarrat took me eight hours to complete, and it felt like a season finale to all the Mahjarrat quests. The amount of epicness and expansive storytelling was FANTASTIC, and it absolutely vindicated my desire to play RS3. I gave up after spending way to many frustrating hours trying to figure things out that (to me) seemed impossible to know - sometimes quests just expect you to know stuff randomly. It was my first time playing on a members account too, and first time playing since about 2008 so I didn't have much game knowledge at the time. Very fun, but also very frustrating.
