Actually, I'm fairly certain that none of them participated in the Keyblade War. Ventus was around during the time and played a prominent role in the game, but he was a dandelion and therefore whisked away during the actual war.
@joeytabora1052 Жыл бұрын
Well, that's partially true, in that he did escape to an alternate worldline with the rest of the dandelions and thus didn't take part in the battle at the keyblade graveyard, but MoM refers to the Keyblade War as the struggle against the 13 strongest primordial darknesses, which had been going on even before any of the games and was very much a central part of Union Cross and Dark Road with the whole thing of locking the darknesses inside the hearts of people with strong lights and all that, and Ventus is the character who prominently gets possesed by a darkness in that game and offs strelitzia, so i think it could be argued that he participated in the greater Keyblade War. So I'm guessing that's what the logic of the question was?

Enormous KH fan and nerd, this was a joy to watch. Jordan's reactions mirrored my own, was great having an expert with them too. Thank you!

Ventus didn't actually participate in Keyblade War because he was recruted as a Dandylion.

this is true, I can confirm. that the answer would actually be, none of the above.

I only got one of these wrong. And for that, I can thank an even shorter Kingdom Hearts lore video than the one cited (though I guess if you add his KH3 video it's about even), Barry Kramer's "A Good Enough Summary of Kingdom Hearts" I hope I can see this without so much buffering and lag on the Twitch vod, 'cause that was painful at points, but it was still a hoot.
@snowcookiemedia3 жыл бұрын
@@MattAndre24 Yep. Twitch has been pounding down harder on copyrighted material. Also if there was a Twitch vod it would be the same because this was recorded and cut directly from Twitch and was a big tech issue that took them forever to fix during the run.

Which one did you get wrong? If it's the one about Ventice in the Keyblade War, the answer key was wrong. He was there, but he wasn't involved in it. So that question shouldn't count

22:00 Is there ANY way we could've deduced the answer in any way?? "No, not at all." Riiiight, except, y'know, the simple fact that Demyx is the ONLY member with a weapon that's an instrument. But NO, no way whatsoever.....

They meant just based on reading the names. They weren't shown labeled pictures of each character, and they'd have no way of knowing which name corresponded to which member in the picture of the full organization.

Lol, it just felt so contrived. Heartless don't make a habit of taking people's clothes off. This is still a Disney game series. I feel like the writers said "wouldn't it be cool if the shirt wore out in the battle to the point where he looks like he does in kh1?" And the programmers were like "shirtEnabled = false"

Kingdom hearts isn't complicated. It's just long. You get all the information over like two hundred hours of cutscenes and gameplay. You need to be actually dumb or skipping cutscenes to not understand it at the pace it's given to you.
@BaconNuke10 ай бұрын
I think many say it's complicated because some people started at a random point and/or were forced to skip a game or two so.. the lore from things before are just dropped in all at once, like seen many talk about how they played 1 and then played 2 and were already lost.. and that was just having COM between them lol so imagine only sparsely playing maybe the DS games at one point randomly in childhood and being like "welp.. can't catch up because there's like 10 other games in series.. and a few japanese only *mobile phone games* that are randomly explaining lore for characters I didn't even know I knew"
@lokenontherange10 ай бұрын
@@BaconNuke You can play one and then just go play two. That actually works fine.
@PikminandOatchi8 ай бұрын
@BaconNuke Buddy you can't call people dumb for struggling to retain 200 hours worth of information. Humans can only do so much.
@lokenontherange8 ай бұрын
@PikminandOatchi it's not 200 hours of information. It's more like a couple hours of content that dragged way the Heck out and is given to you at a pace where even the most mentally defunct child can keep up with it. It's repeated over and over again, it's rephrased over and over again, and it's not done in a way that's subtle. If you get to the end of kingdom hearts one and somehow don't understand what a heartless is that's on you. If you get to the end of chain of memories and don't understand how the memory system works that's on you. It's made incredibly obvious. The only reason someone would ever be confused is if you were like huh let's go into kh2 without playing one or went into 3 without playing the games between it and 2.
