You have to meet up with them way ahead of time so they can inspect you're firearm also its like a training M4 its shoots blanks with a cover on the muzzle. Its can have an open Muzzle. there alot of stuff you gotta meet to be allowed to do it. If you want to do it youre probably waiting till youre in your late 40's

For some reason I always think it's more realistic to have a large amount of people doing a coordinated attack than small skirmishes. I guess platoon vs platoon would fit better if there was a clearer frontline,

Honestly these MILSIMs are very impressive,especially since these are actually 40-50 hours of pure Airsoft. In my country,i took on a Milsim with bare knowledge over it. Bought a tent,snacks,food that i would need and maybe a bit more,if someone is underprepared. It was not as good as this. Admins promised us 3 days of gameplay. It was less than a day when we could play because everyone got exhausted on the sun. Basically it was a NATO/Russia gameplay,with a small group marked as Ukraine mercs and the Russians were having strenght in numbers. Me and a group of 4 people,were Alpha 1-3 from the Alpha squadron. I was the mule of the 1-3,carrying all the stuff we need,BB,Gas for weapons,some porridges if we need to stay on the battlefield for longer periods. I enjoyed some of it,especially when we had to cover the Ukraine Medic to do her job and basically we formed a shield infront of her. The night was a pain,truly. With no proper night equipment,we were relying on our limited vision and our ears. Of course the ruskis were moving in the tree and i softly told everyone moving out of the HQ to stay alert,cut the gens and strobe the forest. Fuckers were swarming the place like it was that one early scene from Ratatoulie. Otherwise it was boring until then,like,i was put into a damned foxhole all alone,with no one to cover my back and a ruski have put his barrel against my upper spinal area. Plus.....players started to take things less seriously,so the admins tried to spice the game with a Juggernaut..i know that the game won't go for too long Next time,i swore that if i get a proper gear,some core strenght and endurance,i will try to go somewhere,where the MILSIM is alive and not like a zombie,like....this. I know it is all serious,but as an 18 yo,with minimal prepping time or budget,i took on a 3 day and actually got through it with no whining,unlike most of other pro airsofters

I enjoy milsim west videos but I can't help but think how unfun this field looks every time I see it. Virtually no cover. Purely a range battle for basically every engagement unless you're in the few spots where there are a good amount of rocks.

They exist, I have a friend who does MSW and he told me about a time his squad had a blank fire PKM. They shot with it so many times throughout the night the barrel melted off the firearm by morning.

Pretty sure it’s somewhere in the California Sierra Nevada foothills. I’m making this guess because of the landscape and trees which look like blue oaks which are endemic to the SN foothills (I also live there) this is a long stretch of land that spans California from north to south. Another contender is somewhere near San Francisco or the Bay Area which has very similar looking hills outside the cities. Hope this helps sorry for the rant I love my local landscape 👍

It's airsoft not blanks, so they feel the pellets hit them.
