My favorite meme currently within the community is that literally no one calls EL_VALIANTa "Valiant" which I'm pretty sure is what his name ought to be. Someone in voice chat said his name as "Valente" when he first showed up, and I refuse to call him anything else. Great shenanigans though. Cool to see such an unorthodox match.

What a comeback from team one! The initial rush hit them hard but they just brushed it off :D A couple mistakes on team two's side, but I think it's mostly due to how hard it can be to manage everything at the same time. All in all, great play from both sides! And great cast as always.

Cow here - yup, that's exactly what happened! It's really hard to overstate how micro-intensive Khaaneph can get. The amount of micromanagement and juggling it takes to get that many blast drones on the field early and actually do enough damage to pay off the investment is kinda scary. It's also a scary build to hold because of the micro involved. My strategy through that rush was pretty simple and dirty - the reason I committed so hard into skimmers was because as long as you don't blob them, you can force trades where the most you'll lose to a single blast drone is a lone skimmer. If each blast drone costs 150CU, and each skimmer costs 100, I knew that I was using my resources more efficiently than p.bobbert and eventually I'd have enough control of mid to start focusing down baserunners. Sandskimmer Armor Level 1 was a game changer for me as well - once your skimmers can survive a blast drone hit, you can keep snowballing in mid, and your opponent's been bleeding CUs for so long that it's unlikely they have some scary follow-up tech ready. My macro slipped *hard* keeping up with all of that though - even with that Siege Cruiser on the field, Bob's mid-game carrier push would have got me if it wasn't for those clutch interceptors from Tom. :)

You missed the part where Tom EMP shelled bobbert's late-game skimmer backstab, letting me take out like 85% of the blob with one clutch blast drone. So many ridiculous khaaneph moments in that game. xD Also, when I spotted the triple baserunner play (didn't realize there was a 4th on the field until it was up in my face) I think I sighed, then my head started playing Yakity Sax.

Haha, it was, and kinda why I wasn’t committed to that last fight with Valiente’s carrier as hard as I could have. It was all happening at pretty much the same time. :)

It makes sense that Khaaneph cruisers are not tanky. Just look at them, they are so scrawny, they lack the volume of other carriers and that is their weakness. Still, I like their design, it is quite aggressive looking.

Imagine if they added in a new faction called Sajuuks guard that has the super carriers from the campaign and all his unit are really powerful but really expensive and the carrier could have emp cannon thing like the siege cruiser and has a super ability like the cruise missile called orbital taiidan cannon or something that cost 1000 rus and 500 cud and does large aoe or and small strike with large damage and the base runner could have heavy turret but only 3 are allowed per player and cost a lot and the super weapon from the carrier is power 7 the main unit would be assault rail gun and bombers. This could shake up the meta from the coalition aav and the gaalisen skimmer railgun
