Those areas that your calling a natural cavern is actually stope work from the miners. They would stope up from the lower levels and every now and again they would end up punching into the drift that was above them. Stay safe out there

I was last in the War Eagle mine in 1981. You could get through the mountain at that time. The lower levels were sketchy but in comparison to your videos it was in much better shape then. There use to be a few houses out side of the mine. Are they still there. Stay safe!

Fun explore . I've been in there quite a few times , that entire mountain is honeycombed with Drifts & Stopes . If you get the right passageway you can actually come out on the other side of the mountain right near a large Ore Bin . -- < Doc , Miner for over 50 years > .

I love testing new equipment in this mine. On one of the explores we were trying to get into that tunnel, but it had collapsed. I do know of another one and we are going to be trying that one here in a couple of weeks.

I have watched quite a few of these mine exploration videos--this mine was one of the best-built I've seen so far. Its huge, extensive and very well constructed--I suspect lots of valuable ore came out. Very interesting. almost no graffiti in this mine. Maybe the boss said no.

I marveled at your high intensity lights. i tried to imagine what kind of lights those miners had, obviously there were electricity strung down there. But tried to imagine the “older tungsten lighting” used. 🤔🤔🤔 Awesome, Awesome Tour. (i would have turned around after level one😂😂😧)

I have great respect for people that can go underground and work. As a kid I explored many old mines that I should not have been in, I thought I was indestructible I guess, I found out the hard way I wasn't. I don't think there are any working underground mines left in this area, they have all gone open pit.

One of my favorite's to explore before I head into the Nopah. Been 3 years since I been there but might add it to list to visit on my next Mojave trip in 2 weeks. Maybe. Not sure if i'm gonna go to DVNP let alone far Northeast to Tecopa. Might hang low and relax down in the brunt land around Rands/Garlock

I would suggest when coming upon an artifact, such as the shirt at 7:59, pick it up and show us. The thousands of feet of tunnels is interesting, but the few old artifacts are most interesting. Some help to date the mine. I really enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing them.

Have you ever considered putting a blower fan up top and sealing it so the good air doesn't escape prior to going into these mines? The reason I say that, you sounded like you were gasping for air after you were in the lower levels. Just be careful.

The materials that they didn't want to take out of the mind and put into those back fills wasn't because they didn't want to move it because obviously you had to move it from where you were digging it was so they didn't have to spend all that time moving it out the full length of the tunnel

Right hand rule is a good one to live by when you are a a greenie. Once you doing it long enough...then it becomes pictoria and memoryl. What starts to get confusing sometimes is descending/ascending levels via manways, declines, etc...then not using the right hand rule to end back up at a station, manway, etc...especially when you got alot on your mind from whats inside
