Just got a onefinity!!! well i ordered it anyway. Waiting on it to get here, carpenter by trade, no skill whatsoever in cnc, but not scared to learn. Out of all of the software i have tried,, even the free carvco stuff, that comes with the machine, i love fusion 360. It works best for me, meaning i understand how to use it better than the others, so i plan on doing all of my work on it, would be great to see a video on the general set up for the onefinity for fusion if you ver feel like doing it . thanks for the excellent work!!

Is the reason you didn't just do a rectangular pattern in the design part to get all of your horizontal and vertical lines because if you did that you would have to create a toolpath for each and every line?

Using lines is easier and quicker for cutting a grid than doing an actual physical pattern on the model,

fusion is the only program that doesnt feel like 1989 era floppy disk shit. anyway i got a question when it draws the line it doesnt penetrate the board because the line is on top of the surface not below the surface

Nice but now everyone wants to know how you made that folding table.

I'm not seeing a chamfer option in 2d contour. EDIT: nvm, your tool has to specifically be a chamfer type to turn that option on
@DesignBuildTDE2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the options will only appear for the specified tools, glad you figured it out

I dont seem to be able to keep my passes within the boundary of the machine leading to greater than maximum error.

If you are using Fusion, dont use the surface feature, use 2D pocket and start job in centre, select options to stay inside area. Last surface I did was 810 x 810
