Design for Change: Book Navigation Project | Allenhouse Public School, Bijauli, Jhansi.
Finding the right book can be difficult, especially for students who often pick books based on covers without knowing if they’ll enjoy them. This leads to reduced interest in reading.
To solve this, students created a Book Navigation System to make book selection engaging and meaningful.
Nevigation Chart: A chart that categorizes books by genre, helping students easily find titles matching their interests.
Book Review Board: Displays student reviews, offering insights to guide others in choosing the right book.
Books for the Week: Features a curated selection of books to spark curiosity and encourage exploration.
Book Review Sessions: Provides a platform for students to share reading experiences, building a community of enthusiastic readers.
These efforts aim to foster a love for reading and help students discover books they genuinely enjoy, making the library a space for exploration and connection.
