The design moment taken from the ETABS design report includes the torsional moment as well. So, We don't need to add the torsional moment again for the calculation of Design moment. In case of the excel sheet used, Design moment should be 113.7 kN-m.

HELLO, I WANT TO ASK YOU THAT HOW EXTERNAL TORSION IS APPLIED ON THE BEAM? I APPLIED THROUGH RELEASE PARTIAL FIXITY IN FRAME ASSIGNING WHERE I PROVIDED TORSION BUT AFTER ANALYSIS TORSION DECREASED.

My two beam is fail due to O/S how can I fix through manual design because I didn't get shear force(Ve) of that beam.

Manual design cannot overcome etabs failure unless there is a modeling problem. Please try out different section sizes or structural arrangements.

as per latest code IS13920:2016 you can not consider the shear strength of concrete for shear reinforcement design. RefIS13920:2016 Cl 6.3.4

I have considered the nominal shear strength of concrete. The code has specified Shear Strength due to bent-up bars and inclined hoops shall not be considered. These two are different.

The code hasn't specified "CONCRETE" anywhere in that clause.

Here is full clause for your confirmation Cl 6.3.4: In the calculation of design shear force capacity of RC beams, contribution of the following shall not be considered: a. Bent up bars b. Inclined links and c. Concrete in RC section

Sorry I had been referring to 1993. Yes as of 2016 we can’t consider the shear strength of concrete. Appreciate your effort. Cheers

Etab 1366 mm2 showed your calculstion 1251mm2 its came If it 20 dia, asper etab,1366/314=4.35=5nos-5-T20, Asper your excel 1251/314=3.98=4nos Y excel calculation you provide y you dont take etab 5-t20
