Mr. Kate you should do one of these shows at least once a week!!!! I love this show I was mad when HGTV took off my show. You know when they had like 8 people doing an empty condo building. Each week they all did a certain room, like the living room ect.. I hope HGTV really pick you guys to do a show just like this!!! I love interior design and who doesn't like some kind of competitiveness!!! Love this please turn it into a series for us Mr. Kate sooner than later!!

I STILL remember David Bromstead’s white room when he hand painted the walls, (& won that season of course)! Has any one else noticed Desola's dark accent wall (and the dark aesthetic), and the mirror's reflection makes it look like the moon. That, in contrast to Natalie's vibrant colors, literally make the rooms as different as day and night.

Exactly!! I loved how Deshola's was a night sky esthetic!! The moon mirror and those 2 art pieces looked like clouds sweeping across the night sky. And I'm obsessed with that chevron rug!!

Natalie's room gave me a more bedroom vibe than a living room vibe. Even though it was bright and positive and colourful, I don't think Natalie's design worked as in for a living room.

In my opinion i liked Natalie's more but Desholas felt like a office to me...none of them really felt like living rooms but I did prefer Natalie's room to Desholas i mean if you think about it it all comes down to the judge and their style...that's why they pick 3 judges so there can't be a tie its either 2 people like 1 room or all of them like it.

Dashola was my vibe 😂 his room matched my personality perfectly. I love how he added the dark colors but matched it with light shades. It pulled it all together. He was super confident!!

I think i would have picked Desolas's room too. Because of a fair observation one of the judges pulled: natalie's room was very beautiful and also so in trend right now, so i can't see this room in 10 years, Desola's on the other hand despite being very stylish is super elegant and atemporal, so it has more "room" to evolve in a long term. But again both of them are VERY beautiful and I'm so proud. I really hope this becomes a series!

I love this video,and I think that they should make a series. But I also think that they need to put more guidelines. Like they should have a theme for the room, for example "Bohemian." Then it would be more equal, and they would both be open to any ideas, but fitting in a theme.

I actually really loved the freedom that they gave, I think its incredible to watch how to different people can take the exact same space and produce two completely different and awesome designs. These two came out almost polar opposites but they both look so great. But doing a themed episode would add another layer to the challenge since the contestants arent professional designers and may have to step out of their comfort zone, which would be cool!

I disagree. I think the beauty of design is how varied it can be. The fact that identical spaces can be made to look, feel, and be experienced in completely different ways IS the competition. If the judges can’t evaluate two differing styles and what is successful about each then they shouldn’t be judges.

The girls room reminded me of a rich teenage girl’s room (or just a girl with a large room) and an extra space is just right there so they add a couch for her and her friends. While the guy’s room reminded me of an office. (Preston Burke) But they both were really good.

Kevin I agree and to be honest i felt she had an advantage because she got to change her color and i know after they decided to let her then they offered it to him but you never know if he had been the one to regret his paint decision if they would have let him and the spontanious diy i felt was unfair because in the beginning it sounded like you could only use what you bought and im sure if he had known that he was allowed he might have done it.

I think that's not a need. He won, and throughout the video they had treated them all equally. I don't think a male judge is necessary. Yeah, it would be nice, but not always it's necessary to have every representative of every "group" to make things work equally.

I liked both rooms, but I loved Desola’s room better. I feel that Natalie’s room is too basic. Everyone on KZbin have the same pink colors with cactus and all the stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I love pink. Pink is my favorite color. But I just feel every KZbinr and people on Instagram use the same colors. Take for instance Alisha Marie. Desola chose gray paint, with gold and brass colors. It just made the room look more luxurious.

Wow. I would not have been able to choose. The rooms were vastly different from each other but both were outstanding. Interesting how feminine one room was and how masculine the other. Yet both would work for a couple or family depending on the setting. The pastels would work on a seaside beach setting for both genders. The greys and darker hues would work in a modern, urban type setting for both genders. Well done, and fun to watch.

They should do a house of wars I think that’s its name. So they get two old house that no one wants and they get contestants and they renovate a room every episode so the kitchen then bathroom then the bedroom and etc. So they get 48 hours and at the end they get judges who choose a winner and that winner for that episode will get an advantage next episode. Before the last challenge which is usually the exterior they will send someone away and leave two houses left. For the last challenge the judges will be the people and they’ll walk in and judge and leave a vote at the end. Whoever wins will keep the house and call it their own. (I am completely sorry if my grammar wasn’t the best shown and if I didn’t do a great job at explaining)

Can Desola do my room? He did a good job on the bold side of the room. My room is gray which I do find cool. I have his style more than Natalie, I’m not to crazy over bright colors even when I do like blue. I like any type of blue but at the same time I like bold colors, like gray, light gray(which I have in my room), black & white. I did What’s My Aesthetic and it gave me bohemian, i was mostly shocked because I like bold colors as well. I did love Natalie’s room, it’s just I don’t like bright colors that much. I love that there styles are different.

Everyone has different opinions on both of the rooms I personally have more of an minimalistic rooms so I personally like the guys room because it's so simple and looks very luxury. But the girls room is more colorful which I personally don't think is the best for a living room but everyone has there different opinions.
