I should have mentioned this in the video but the reason for the drastic improvement to the grip as the dart ages is because the copper will oxidize as it's exposed to the sweat and salt in your fingertips/hands. Over time that oxidation will provide a very nice grip to these darts. 👍

Thanks to you I have discovered Designa darts for myself. I have a 22g set and an 18g set. Thank you for exposing us to this brand as well as Darts Corner. Another terrific review WWD. I have a couple of sets of these and it was with this exact set that I managed my first ever 180. Super inexpensive and slim enough for tight grouping. The front lip does tend to tear up flights, but still a great dart.

Those things would rock with Target Storm points. Pretty nice looking darts as-is, but that front ledge would make them a flight chewer. Adding them to the list for the next order!

Have owned about 6 sets of these darts and are easily in the top5 darts I have owned ever! 17grams of beauty and a set that when you are on they are perfect but when you are off they punish you big time...Now I want to buy a new set!

We play every Saturday in the local pub winner stays on , the landlord keeps a tin behind the bar of old darts and flights etc I had a look in the tin these exact darts were in there I had a throw liked them that much I swapped my gary Anderson 50 pound darts for them lol

These darts are the ultimate shape for fitting darts into close grouping areas, combined with kite or the super kite flights that Worldwide uses for grouping tightly should be easy, if the thrower has the skill as Worldwide clearly has.. At the end of the day the skill of the thrower is the single most important thing, if you have skill then these barrels are a no brainer the trebles and doubles are at your mercy as the design is in my opinion impeccable.

@@WorldwideDarts Hi Worldwide, I have tried all kinds of different barrels and eventually my match darts are custom made by Custom made darts in the UK , made from 95% tungsten 20g barrels 40mm long and 6.9mm at the widest point in the middle, they are very slightly forward of centre balanced with a simple ring grip for easy release. They are M3 format with the external thread from the barrel, so when I screw the 41mm points on I get a long tapered nose for more room in the Treble beds, they are T20 magnets. My other 2 sets I practice with are also M3 darts by Empire darts with slim barrels of 5.1mm and the other set 5.4mm thickness and both sets are 54mm in length. All 3 sets have simple ring grips for easy release. All the best from Portugal.

I don't understand why dart manufacturers don't get rid of the lip... I mean one80 have a line of darts and most of their darts don't require a trident cone due to the shape of the barrel.

One80 has done a great job with eliminating the lip on most all of their darts. I'm always amazed at what a difference it makes. These flights saw more abuse in the 10 minutes I used them compared to the 2 months I've been using my Cosmo Fit Flight Pro flights on my match darts. I’ve been watching all your reviews since I joined. Probably the worst ppd with these darts. You kill it with any dart set. Not sure price is the priority but rather how the dart feels in the hand. Like guns, people shoot better with guns that fit their hands best. It would be nice to watch a video of your breakdown on the priorities of dart selection. Price is one but how would you rank the top 5 considerations on a dart before buying? Love the channel.

Good idea for a video. Although I can you right now that price has absolutely nothing to do with anything when it comes to darts. Some of the nicest darts I've ever reviewed cost about $20usd. But in a way price might factor in for all the darts I review from Darts Corner. I want to try every single set because they're so incredible and affordable. Most all the Designa darts are in the $20 range and so are the Darts Corner darts. There is nothing on the market nicer than those darts regardless of price.

@@WorldwideDarts agree. But new players to your channel may think to keep finding the perfect darts and you make each sound appealing. This is why I’m making the suggestion on top 5 priorities. I believe you have touched on these areas among all the videos. Your skill set speaks volumes. I would love to see a mentor video mixed in among the dart reviews. Your ability to articulate makes you a natural for this. Others do this on KZbin but I would rather listen to your thoughts and advice. Great throwing!

There's a huge myth in the USA that that quality of darts has everything to do with price. The more a dart cost the better it is. That's the furthest thing from the truth as I've shown in multiple videos when I reviewed $20 darts from the UK. I will be doing some different types of videos in the near future though. I've used the normal standard set up for a few of my videos recently. Even my last giveaway video a few days ago. I prefer to use my own set up, as I think most players do, because I do want to be able to throw the darts well for a review. 👍
