your review is a point landing for me. I bought the scotlandversion (steeltip) 1 week ago and they came today on Monday. So while i watching this i can hold my new Patriotdarts in my hand :) i can agree with the griplevel. Round about this is a really nice Dart. Greetz and good darts =)

I decided to get into soft tip as well this winter, just for funzies. Ordered some soft tip Adrian Lewis gen 3's as they are the closest to my steel tip. Just playing the waiting game for them.

Question: Do you think playing too much on a soft tip board, with typically larger segments, can hinder your steel tip performance? I found after a few weeks of playing soft tip, I wasn't used to the smaller segments of the steel tip board.

I tried it after watching this guy do it, and my darts fell out whenever they collided, and the soft-tips bent after a couple of throws, so it didn't work for me! Maybe different soft-tips would work better?

Yea it works but def not efficiently. Your not suppose to play a game like that.

I'm glad you like these. I have a set on order which should be showing up around this time next week. Mine are the Ireland set too, but in 22g. My usual is 24g, but they were sold out, and only had two sets of 22g in stock so I went ahead and ordered. I originally had a set of the 24g in my cart, but money is still a little tight these days, so I had to wait a few days to pull the trigger, and by the time I was ready to go, they were sold out. The only thing that's kinda concerning me is that barrel to point lip, so I also threw a set of white Tridents in too. This will be my first time using Tridents, so I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Anyway, glad you like them, because they looked like something I might enjoy as well. Multi ring, straight barrel, 90%, semi-aggressive grip, the whole thing. Can't wait to see them!

When I was on DC last night ordering my steel point replacement tool, I decided to take a stroll through my favorites or my wish list, and the 24g Designa Ireland Patriot X was back on my list, so yay for me! I went ahead and ordered a set of them while they were still there. That must be a very popular model because as I recall, the last time, they were showing upwards of 10 in stock, and in under two days they were sold out. I wish I'd known at the time how soon it would be, but if I'd just held off a few days before placing my first order, I wouldn't have a set of 22g on the way lol. Oh well, one can never have too many sets anyway, so it's all good! 👍👍 Maybe I'll just gift the 22g set to my son. Maybe. I'll have to see how charitable I'm feeling after my 24g set shows up! 😂😂😂

Does a steel tip will be able in Patriot X Soft Tip? Looking for a lighter set of darts..mostly in the market have 22g and up..only soft tip has 18g-20g...thanks who ever answer...

Is there an affordable steeltip dart like this, but with a nice and smooth nose cone? I find it pretty hard to find a rather skinny, straight barrel, multi ring dart with a nice nose that can take a storm point...at least for a decent price..suggestions?

Opponent is way back... you can throw at T13 to try and leave 40. Now if the opponent is on a finish you HAVE to throw at T19. That way if you hit a single you still have 20, tops. Throwing at T13 is a mistake because if you hit a S13 it leaves 66 and you're forced to go 16, bull. Not ideal.

@@GrinderMagee Thanks for the sub. Yeah, shipping is dirt cheap from the UK. At Darts Corner it's about $4 - $5 for most orders and that includes several sets of darts. Can take about 7-10 days for delivery though. Double Top Darts is around $7 or $8 but that includes tracked shipping. Imo Dartshopper is the best by a LONG ways. $8 or $10 shipping but you have it in your hands within a couple days!
