I use these myself and they are fantastic . They feel locked in my fingers and I can feel the release that I want to get which is perfect for me. As far as value for money goes I paid £19 for a 90% tungsten dart that I love throwing. What a deal!

It's all your fault WWD....I was on your channel and saw a prior episode about where to get quality darts like the pros at a reasonable price at Darts Corner. Well, I got a set of Designa Dark Thunder V2 22g darts for @ $20....I love them. I loved them so much that when I wanted a lighter dart for sot tip, I got a set of Designa Hellraiser ST (barrels only in 15.5 g) and have no complaints. I needed a lighter dart, my regular steel tips are 26g and playing as many matches as we do in soft tip was not pleasant on my 53 year old arm. Awesome darts, awesome store, awesome channel. Thank you for doing these tips and reviews, sir. Keep 'em straight!

Very similar to the Taylors phase 2 and 3 which then is very similar to the Anderson phase 1's. all have that lovely 'Purist' grip from top to bottom and stick to the hand lovely. I love darts that don't have that smooth part in the middle for no reason. This is why Designa are my favourite dart manufacturer, great quality, great design and all at a fraction of the price.

Was gonna ask if the barrels were purist esque but you have answered for me. As Purists are no longer made by Unicorn I may well try these arras out. Straight barrel darts with ring grip are unbeatable.

Worldwide, I got my package from Darts Corner yesterday with the darts, Target Storm black points, and the two sets of flights. I changed out the points, then tried the Robson plus flights with several different shafts; They kept going tail down on me. I then put on the Fit Flight shafts (short) with the D3 Pro flights. They fly straight as an arrow and are very nice to throw. Thanks for the great recommendations.

@@hunterp3309 Thanks! Oddly enough there really is no "beginner" darts. I say that because we can buy incredible $20 darts like these Patriot X which are nice enough for a professional player. I would highly recommend anything in the Designa brand line up. Or even the new Darts corner branded darts. I have a review coming soon of the Darts Gallant M3 darts. Soooo nice! One of my sets finally arrived today. Oddly, it's the third order out of three that I had placed, but the first and second orders still haven't arrived yet. In fact, the third order was placed four days after the second one, and this is what I'm having trouble figuring... the third order was placed 12 days after the first one was. Lol figure that out if you can. Anyway, the set I got today was the 24g steel point Scotland set, and I gotta say, as inexpensive as they are, they sure are nice. They do have a fairly aggressive grip, I think your 3.5 rating is pretty accurate. I ended up swapping out the stems for medium length Designa Durable Nylon, also in white, only I ordered two sets each of Ireland and Scotland flights from Raw in their Nations 100 line. The Scotland ones are a white background with blue flames from the bottom, and a red lion at top center. The Ireland ones are a white bcakground with green flames on the left, orange flames on the right with a shamrock top center. Now I just need those to show up. Anyway, very nice set, very simple multi-ring straight barrel design that happens to be my favorite type. They look great, throw and release easily and they fly straight. What more can you ask of them than that? On an unrelated note... I broke one of my rules and bought a set with lots of paint. Or coating, I don't know yet because I'm still waiting for them. These are Darts Corner brand, Squadron 24g, M3 shape. Lots of blue stripes down in the grooves. Not sure what I was thinking other than I liked the configuration of being another basic multi-ring set with a mostly straight barrel, except for that little taper at the point. That will be the order with my repointing tool, so I'm really excited about getting that one.

I was going to place a huge order but I have to wait until the new target stuff comes out on the 29th to figure out how much $$$ I need to spend to get the new Buntings as well as the Danny baggish darts. I believe it's blue paint on the squadron darts. Not 100% sure though

@@WorldwideDarts My order with the Squadrons arrived on Thursday. It didn't look all that bad on the site, but when I took them out of their bar wallet, the first thing that came to mind was "that's a lot of fucking light blue". Which is another thing... I know that not all screens display the same, but on my screen, it looked like there was more green, bordering on turquoise. I decided to not use their disposables, instead using a set of Harrows SuperGrip aqua blue stems with a set of Harrows Retina flights with aqua blue spines and black wings, which seems to have broken it up a lot. I tried using a more "normal" shade of blue, but it didn't work with the shade on the barrels, and I've decided to not dunk the barrels. The last time I did that was around three years ago on a set of Unicorns, and I haven't used them since. The grip doesn't feel nearly as aggressive as it looks, I'd say maybe 2-2½. Overall, they aren't too bad. They feel pretty decent in hand, the consistent ring grip pattern works well for me and they release pretty consistently. Something I didn't notice at first, was that these aren't straight barrels. They appeared straight to me on the site, and even after I unpackaged them. It was a few throws in that I noticed that they felt a little weird, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it(no pun intended) at first. Then it came to me and I pulled the flights off, lined them up on a table and there it was. Even after I picked them up, I still couldn't quite see it until I put them right up against each other. I can't tell if the curvature is that slight, or if it's just that my eyes are getting old, although I suspect the latter to likely be the case. As I mentioned earlier, overall I like them, but they're nothing spectacular, about what you'd expect from a multi ringed barrel with paint down in the grooves.

Never tried them. But any basic straight barrel multi ring dart is probably in the 2.5 to 3.5 grip range. Not a ton of difference to be fair.

Bought this set eventually, 22gr with the apex points. The grip is better than the 1st Gen harrows Duzza but not too gripy. The added grip on the point make huge difference for me. The apex points almost as the diameter of the barrel nose so it's not perfect but not noticeable unless you look really close. Thank you for your reviews.
