Super useful video, thank you! I'd love to get into designing for letterpress but I struggle with building a portfolio as it's not easy to just print one or two items like with digital printing. I guess you need to go all in with a real project in order to build your portfolio and have something to photograph for your website...

Hi Laney! I absolutely love your wedding invitation, any chance I can get more information on how you created it? My wedding is later this year and your invitation is exactly why I’ve been looking for.

Hi Laney! Do you have recommendations for paper types when combining graphic printing and letterpress? I know letterpress paper it typically heavy weight but wanted more info on combining the two methods! Thanks

You can letterpress almost any paper so it doesn’t *have* to be anything specific. I typically do use double thick if I’m gonna LP it though! Cotton or eggshell are my go tos (from printswell - I have vids on here about them)

Hey Laney! This video was extremely helpful and informative. I’m really interested in the blind impression. Is there a way I can achieve this look with a debossing tip on a Cricut, or is a letter press the only way to achieve this look?

I would say…you CAN. But you’d be limited to a single line image/text I think? So there would be no weight to any of your designs if that makes sense? I think potentially if you had it “color in” the shapes you’d be able to see individual strokes. But I don’t have one so it’s always worth a test IMO
