I agree with the receipt statement. I asked a consignment if they had a receipt for a bag & they got super offended. I think they were either hiding something or their customer service wasn't there

Hey Sylvia! Question for you, with so many designers bags in your possession and such large investments, what do you do to keep them all safe and sound? I don’t have many super expensive bags and whatnot but the ones I do have I always feel a bit anxious(?) I guess about something every happening to them, in or out of the house. Do you have any special procedures or lock away places to store and protect investment pieces like collections of designer bags?

i cover my expensive items under my insurance, and keep all my receipts!

Sylvia Jade All of my bags are under my house insurance and I scan all my receipts so I have a digital copy of them as well.

omg i love how u said u try not to cannabalize ur bags LOL cuz i totally do the same thing. i have a chanel for dressier/girlier looks and then a gucci soho disco for more casual, etc. i thought the palm springs mini zipper was annoying? wdyt?

you feel me!!! the palm spring mini def isn’t the easiest zipper out there, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. doesn’t bother me much. i’m not constantly opening/closing my bags.

i actually was really really close to purchasing the stella mccartney tote!! but i heard the vegan leather wears down easily, so i never went through with it.

New subbie here! Do you have any lambskin bags? If you do, how do you care for them? I just got my first Chanel - preloved, it’s a lambskin jumbo. But I’m thinking whether it’s going to be hard to maintain moving forward. If it is, then I mighttttt sell it and get a caviar one instead? Help!

thank you for subscribing! i don’t choose lambskin because i know my nails will ruin them. my nails are always long and sharp, haha. the only lambskin i have (and would purchase) is the vintage one. it’s flat and more durable (as opposed to the current lambskin which is puffy and soft). i prefer caviar, and calfskin (can be smooth like lambskin, but a lot more durable).
