Ceri, thank you for the awesome demonstration using my stamps and masks. I enjoyed the addition of the circles because you know I am totally a circle artist too...never enough. It is so great to watch your process, from choosing the paints to how you use your brayer and all the while explaining the method to your creativity. The why's always help me understand new ways to use products and protective measures to keep art supplies in good health.

Lovely Ceri, the gold accents really lift them. I think they have an Aztec feeling. The stamps are fabulous. Xx

Ceri, you inspire me sooooooo much! I learn so much from you - not only about art, but also about life. I often watch your videos to hear your voice, which is so calming and peaceful. You are like the older brother I never had…Because of you and other fabulous artists in the mixed media KZbin community, I have taken the plunge and launched my own KZbin channel this past week. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤

What are masks? They look like stencils?
@CeriGriffiths9 күн бұрын
Thats a tricky answer as masks and stencil are basically techniques, if you visualise a flat doughnut shape with a hole in the middle, if I lay this doughnut onto a painted background and spread paint over it I will show both techniques. Once I've lifted the doughnut shape from the background then the unpainted area of the doughnut has stayed that way because it has been masked by the doughnut shape, the hole in the middle of the doughnut which is now painted happened because the hole acted as a stencil so the paint could go through it. I hope that helped
