I have always gone with Thermadore or Dacor but I am sold on Bertazzoni! The design features and functions are well thought out. We are about to plan a kitchen remodel so this line is perfect! I LOVE your videos.

@@DesignerAppliances No, we are in the Seattle area. I found a place that carries the brand. I did see one video about the glass inner door exploding. Not really sure what that is about. I have a home warranty to cover such mishaps. Cheers!

I feel like comparing Thermodore and Dacore to Bertazzoni is simply unfair. They are much more expensive than Bertazzoni so expecting them to be as good is expecting too much.

I'm sure they are available in Spain. Heck, I found and bought one here in Romania (online), and is the best thing ever. If you really want American appliances they even have the Wolf ranges available in Europe but you'd have to spend double the money which is a huge inconvenience.

Does Bertazzoni offer custom hoods in case you want the hood to match color-wise to over. I am interested in the orange oven but also would like the hood to be orange. I know they don't offer colored hoods to match colored ovens (stupid decision IMO). Will they do custom colored hoods for an extra fee?

Great question! Unfortunately, they do not offer color options with ventilation units. If you would like a specific color, you would have to select the RAL code and custom order a Vent-A-Hood (vent hood brand) or another custom hood brand.

Hi, do you know if the 36" heritage range is truly 36" wide? Bertazzoni's printed specs show width as 36" but is it exactly 36"? I have no showrooms near me and I am trying to properly configure the counters and tops so I can fit the range properly.

Yes, Bertazzoni is sold internationally and in different parts of the world, you may see Bertazzoni sold as Bertazzoni La Germania.

I will never get Bertazzoni's choice in oven insulation, they look like cheap rubber. Did you know about their cooling fan? I think it's a nice feature nobody gives the proper attention.

Hello again yurieu - you have all great questions! Bertazzoni ranges are equipped with a thermostatically controlled cooling fan designed to prevent the control panel and knobs from overheating. The cooling fan will automatically operate when the oven temperature goes up and will turn off when the temperature decreases. It is also normal for the cooling fan to run up to 30 minutes after the oven is switched off. We agree with you - it is a great feature to have especially if you are doing a lot of high-heat cooking or broiling!

Hey davidhunternyc! No it will not interfere with the high temps in the oven, they are designed to keep the cavity around the oven cool during usage with high temps to protect wiring and other electrical components. Hope that helps!
