One thing to note: If you are cutting, make sure the outsides are at priority 1, and the holes remain as priority 0. That way it cuts the inner holes first. If it cuts the outside first it can drop and your inner slots won't be where they should be.

If you change the file to a dxf before you download, the text will import without an error....

Would I need to do a burn test for different thicknesses of wood or any other material? also I see people using 3mm quit often. Is that the best wood thickness?
@makerspace3073 жыл бұрын
You should always do a burn test on a new material to make sure you have your setting right. 3mm is a very common size. It's sold in a lot of US hobby and hardware stores as 1/7" "craft ply". I buy a lot of it branded by Midwest Products. I also use some no name 5 mm ply that is super cheap, but not as high quality as the 3mm stuff.

You can find the files on Github and you would be able to run your own local version on your personal computer. There is also a way to build extensions for Inkscape. There has been an issue that was opened for the site being down on the Github page that may have updates in the future. github.com/florianfesti/boxes/issues/383 For the full GitHub repo look here: github.com/florianfesti/boxes
