Nice job making sure you went slow enough and outlined your steps for people who are new to laser and/or lightburn software. I've been on it for a little while, still have a lot to learn, but it's always helpful when someone recognizes there are all levels of users watching the video. Thanks

Thank you! I had no idea where you were going with Pikachu, until you finished the design with him and I was floored!

Thank you Anthony. All of this is new to me. You did an excellent job of explaining how to do it to a beginner like me.

Great video. The walkthrough you did was easy to follow and easy for a Lightburn beginner like my self to understand. Cheers!

who still don't use metrics? :D

Thanks for sharing. You did not do offset of the cutout to compensate for the laser cut with or box will be to tight to assemble. Isn’t that needed?
@brakthehun2 жыл бұрын
Not needed. It helps if you're going for am interference fit but that depends on your laser.

Thank you dude that was an awesome video. I'm expecting to get my laser from J tech for my one Infinity CNC in the next couple of weeks which has also a diode laser. I'm looking forward to doing something similar to this.

You stated at beginning that in makercase the boxes don’t come out right but you can fix it. Which part didn’t come out right?? Maybe I missed that part. Thanks!

Hey, so say I wanted to design a shoe box but not a basic box, this is what I would use ?

There is a cardboard laser box maker out there. Give me a sec

Cool tutorial. Question, is there a way to add- in an inside divider wall? Probably could copy one of the sides, but how would you line up or make finger joints for the bottom, front, and back for the divider.
@brakthehun3 жыл бұрын
You can make some inside dividers by estimating length of divider and building matching up box joints. Then rotate the joints 45 degrees.

Oh!! Wrong tutorial!! Ha. There are box maker options that have dividers.

Great video! Is there a funtion to show simulation and to calculate cutting time with this app?

Yeah. There's a button up top that looks like a monitor

Oh. I never actually cut it out. It was all theatre!! I guess I could have shown a box I cut out.

Isn’t it better to use design software like Solidworks or even Fusion360, Lightburn design tools are so lame and takes ages, then import it ready in lightburn?
@brakthehun Жыл бұрын
I 0reger to use parametric 3D environments,, but a lot of people would prefer to 2D environments. I wish lightburn was like a sketch with the constraints and variables.
