First time seeing your video on my tl and instantly subscribed. Please keep these videos going! I’m an aspiring designer and I teach art to high school students. I’m really fascinated by this process and would love to teach it to my students. For the sake of my learning too (no tea,no shade) I’d like to critique your approach. I love the brief and the idea of it being a scent and the name is firrrrme🔥🔥 but I’m not so sure about the direction you took it towards luxury. I feel like taking it that way made it lose some of the personal touch that - taking your babes hoodie is all about. Like luxury to me is something you don’t want to get messy or dirty - but like wearing your babes hoodie is low key bummy. Like you may not want to immediately wash your boos hoodie that you “borrowed” because you like the scen. So yknow the hoodie might have a few wears maybe even a stain somewhere. There might even be a personal story behind the piece of clothing you’re wearing. What I’m trynna say is I feel like a much more cultural and storied approach to the aesthetic could’ve been applied here for more effective results. I feel like my brain doesn’t as easily connect the name and the concept to a luxury scent.

I probably could have explained better by adding more of the development via the research portion with ChatGPT because the “convo” ended up with the brand wanting to stray away from the homey feel and lean more into an elevated version of that, but in retrospect I would love to do a version that completely disregards the luxury! Not quite like Canva since you don’t build the designs themselves in Envato, but I would think of it as a place where you can grab things like fonts, backgrounds, textures, patterns, photos, etc to drop into Canva to make better designs. Also useful if you edit videos, make content, or use other design software.
