Jake, you just keep getting better man! Your design sense is excellent. I really wish you were the head of your own animation studio and we could see these in an animated show.

"Procrastination isn't laziness, it's fear." If you can identify what is scary about it (i.e. fear of failure, fear of success, making something real means it becomes finite, etc.) you'll either find it's not that scary after all, or you can address it with baby steps.

I think you nailed it. Fear is definitely a factor.

So, so true, and your comment has had me thinking so intensely about that rule in my own life that I didn’t really pay attention to the video 😆 I have to go back and watch it again! But I did some good self-reflection. Thanks.

@@StudioHannah I'm glad to hear it. You may have heard of "The Artist's Way," it is the source for getting unblocked and increasing creative flow, I recommend it fully.

Really inspiring to see you as an artist growing beyond the initial Inktober project. I think a lot of artists stagnate doing the same projects over and over again.

Such a big fan! Been rewatching your videos for inspiration this week and, what do ya know, you've come out with a new one! I would love to see your stuff come to life through animation some day as well! Thanks again for all the inspiration, Jake Parker!

You have outgrown doing the challenge. I love that you still run it, but I was thinking, “wow Jake is still doing this?” It’s always great to see what you make for Inktober, but you shouldn’t be afraid to move on.

This is great! It was really fun hearing the motivation behind each drawing and how you interpreted the prompts. Beautifully designed and detailed drawings as always. Unfortunately I couldn’t participate in Inktober this year, but last year I really appreciated how it helped build my confidence in crafting a finished inked drawing every day, as well as quickly increasing a new body of art. Thanks for sharing and look forward to hearing more about Skull Chaser! :)
