This video is very useful. Many years ago I used to make comics, now i'm an animator and I want to go back to making comics and this video was useful because it reminded me things I used to do and worked and also gave me new ideas that I will try myself.

that is true, you can't make a comic without script writing, a draft idea on the rough ideas, character designing, and make sure how many pages it has to be and what make the comic so interesting..! I will remember that as i keep making my own comic

The thing about Calvin - is his innocence. He's a little kid. He thinks Girls are Yucky. Those of us who are adults and went through puberty a long time ago - kinda miss the simple days when we wanted to be Cowboys. .

I know ill never be famous. Ill never be sponsored by cheap alcohol markers nobody needs or mobile games that steal your data. I get less art commissions in a year than times a hyena gets laid in the same period. I am. At best A regular artist and character designer nut I do love doing what i do. Drawing keeps me alive. My drawings are my only legacy. So ill do my best Even if nobody else will even go take a look. I draw and create characters for me. 😊

3:38 the inability to get started on something THAT YOU CARE ABOUT - is literally the most concise summary of my own block possible. And the more I care and more passion I have about something the worse and more unpleasant it becomes. It’s so demoralizing. Hasn’t shifted an inch in 20 years to the point that I hate and dread working on art now.

Don’t expect you to see this but I saw the thumbnail of your how to draw short comics video and knew who you were instantly, despite the black and white. I read the binding off Missile Mouse as a kid, never knew there was a sequel and if I recall correctly there was more to be seen at the end of the book.

This idea really put into words this vague feeling I’ve had for a while. I am always looking to ‘level up’ my art but never really could figure out a way to do so. This is it. Finishing things is the only way to get better, and I already have ideas for some of the projects you suggested. Thank you so much for the video!
