noob is concatenation of word newbie. Word newbie fits to it quite well including lack of options/dlcs, because they are, well, new. Bad connotation of the word is something internet can thank themselves, author didn't necessarily need to mean it like that. But I see where you are coming from.

I'm the type of player that fights the core game UI for several minutes to make that intersection elevation just right - I have a few DLCs and CCPs but I've been playing on and off for a couple of months now, still discovering many things so I've resisted getting mods until I get a good feeling for the base game, but as I'm dabbling more and more with landscaping I feel I need better control over elevation as well as building asset selection. Thanks for the cool vid - the modder segment was neat but I think I prefer the other two - I don't like too many right-angles, I always favor unpredictability in shaping and respecting the natural irregularities of the land.

@@GamingBren thanks for the link :) yeah those basic controls I use all the time, my problem is getting roads to follow along the slope for example, oftentimes roads deform the terrain, especially the larger ones... I've seen another youtuber use a mod that lets him control the elevation of every road segment, that should be a good one I guess.

I know it's in the "Noob" portion (no mods, no DLC's, no Workshop items), but you can actually use Planning Roads for those builds where you're using roads a scaffoldings to make your highways and intersections. That way, you won't have to pay anything for something you'll demolish. I know there's a refund, but if the player doesn't have extra funds to cover the scaffolding cost, (and some refunds aren't full), the planning roads can come in handy.

@@imperatur There is no display in the move it mod that lets you change the size of objects. Or do I have the wrong Move It mod? I just searched every Move It mod tutorial on youtube and there is none that talk or show anything regarding the ability to change the size of objects, it only works on roads. PLS ELABORATE I BEG YOU!!!!! ;O This function would truly be incredible to have!

i really like your videos, but you go soo fast its very hard to follow what your doing. i'm constantly starting and stopping it. i want to be able to learn from your vids, not just seeing a interesting, then better, then best design made, but rather, HOW you did each of the 3. if you could slow it down some, so its easier to see what y our selecting and what your doing, that would be very helpful and appreciated.
