My life is so different just now. I’m working hard and settling in as A Senior Lecturer. I’m teaching a wide range of creative skills and just getting my head around academia in general. I still run my own company but I’m not working on client projects as much between September and April. Obviously the time I have for KZbin and courses is less for now but I’m learning so much about how to teach and develop new artists. I’m hoping these new found skills and techniques help me to keep developing this channel and the wide range of courses I still want to make. The creature course will launch with a lot of content but I want it to grow over the next few years. I’ve actually been planning it for years and always had too many other things on the go to get it recorded. Thanks for all the support and encouragement you all give me. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I have been using your nomad course for my 2nd year at uni, now that I'm in final year I can confidently say you've been an incredible help to my toy making journey. I've been looking into creature/monster and kaiju design for the last 6 months so I truly cant wait to get started on your course when it's available. Thanks a lot.

BTW, just as a learning point for a guy who knows human anatomy but not bird anatomy (I'm talking about me, here), does a bird have a shoulderblade? I don't think it does. Never looked at bats. But the scapula has a certain purpose in the shoulder girdle that it probably doesn't have in the wing.

@@ronaldbell7429yeah they do. The assembly in a bird has a scapula, furcula (wishbone) and coracoid which we don’t have. Obviously all evolved to aid flight and powering wings from massive chest muscles. Bats are exactly the same as us just different proportions. A bird scapula is usually long and thin. The one i find funny is how many animals lack or have a reduced collar bone, even a lot of mammals.

I have learned to use Nomad through one of your tutorials and was very grateful for it and for your easy way of teaching the subject. Since then I have time and again returned to your tutorials and enjoyed them, either for refreshing my skills or for finding the answers to some new questions. So let me just say thank you for all of your efforts and express my best wishes for your future projects; and i wish you happiness with all the changes in your professional life. I will still be a part of it as one of your pupils. :-) And, by the way - your pencil and felt tip sketches are truly fantastic and works of art for themselves! Congratulations!
