Hi, again many thanks for your video. I have a question about the software. I want to see the effect of filtration like HEPA filters on energy consumption of the HVAC system ( mostly pressure drop related energy consumption). Is it possible to do with this software? If not, do you have any suggestions?

sorry please check your input data and definition. you only input the walls if your walls are external walls exposed to sunlight. for internal wall, please use partition. and floor above conditioned space means that your calculated room is above another room which is conditioned to same room temperature.
@passionateengineer043 жыл бұрын
Yes, you are right but these are only just examples. Select wall that are exposed, it depends on orientation of building. For internal walls you will use partition walls and fo roof also.

Sir. in HAP software, Equipment class: Hygienic units not available plz tell me how to add
@passionateengineer04 Жыл бұрын
Can you please guide me why you want to add a Hygienic unit in HAP? Because AHU is enough in system data for cleanroom and others. If your country have high humidity in some seasons than you have to calculate load on that temperature in which humidity is high, else you can use dedicated software for load calculation of cleanroom and healthcare facility.
@muzaffershaik8336 Жыл бұрын
@@passionateengineer04 sir in our country we have high humidity and i am doing calculations for Health care facility (veterinary clinic) (Rooms , Surgical, Pharmacy, and Examination/Treatment rooms) for that i need to select hygienic units
@passionateengineer04 Жыл бұрын
@@muzaffershaik8336 you need to calculate load at high humidity, e.g in August humidity is high, so you need to calculate load on these parameters not on ambient temperature. Once you get the load, then you need to select hygienic AHU based manufacturer selection.

Why u are considering all 4 wall? , you need to consider the wall facing outside and other wall shall be partitions wall if it is not air conditioned
@passionateengineer044 жыл бұрын
It depends on your building orientation and exposure, if 3 walls are exposed than do calculation for these 3 walls and consider 4 th one is partitioned space or you can only do calculation for 3 walls only. in video these are just examples everyone have different scenarios.

@passionateengineer043 жыл бұрын

@passionateengineer04 Жыл бұрын
Negative pressure means more exhaust than fresh air, you need to account for 100% fresh air and put direct exhaust cfm in the thermostat option. This way you can calculate load for negative rooms.
