The greatest tragedy of the American Civil War is the employment of Napoleonic tactics with weapons that had made it obsolete. In principal, not much different than the M-16 analogy. Especially with weapons like the Spencer, line infantry was brutally obsolete.

Like so many people, I came to this by accident. Like George Phillies, I have many many AH games and can perfectly understand what he is talking about. He is totally delightful and brings up many great points, in terms of gaming and how to figure it out . I found this series to be really informative, and very inspiring. Thank you... where does this guy teach?
