5:13 so for those who don't know, the middle finger originated from the 100 year war, where the french soldiers would cut off the index and middle finger of captured british archers. as a result, the archers who hadn't been captured would hold up those two fingers to taunt their enemies. so to put it another way, this zelda taunt is her historically accurately flipping us off.

Honestly, I really like how you made jigglypuff’s new taunt be similar to Luigi’s down taunt or Kazuya’s side taunt, but instead of doing massive damage, it puts you to sleep and gives a harmless little doodle on your character’s face. I like when people add taunts that actually have an effect on the gameplay. That’s what I love to see.

For Diddy Kong, he GOTTA have the boombox and shades for a taunt. For Sonic, he should definitely spin a chili dog in his hand and say, “C’mon, Step it up!” and proceed to eat the chili dog in one bite. For King Dedede, he should eat a food from the Kirby series like the meat 🍖 and Bandana Waddle Dee cheering him on behind him. For Little Mac, an update to his taunts would be that there would be a small chance that Doc Louis would appear in the background when he speaks in Mac’s taunts. King K Rool would wave to the krowd like he does in DK64 in his final boss fight accompanied with the “Thank you! Thank you!” dialogue. An update to Joker’s down taunt I mentioned in the previous taunt video, when Joker is in his Shujin Academy costume, Morgana should be updated to be his cat form in the real world and Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba (in her regular clothes), Haru, Akechi and Sumire (The hair down with glasses look) would all appear in their school uniforms to match Joker during each cycle of the taunt. Pit would get a cute animation of him literally eating Ice Cream from the floor while saying “Floor Ice Cream gives you health!” (It would NOT actually heal Pit) Bayonetta would have to get her taunts from Smash 4 with the length and everything, the only change would be the taunts would be auto cancellable at any point of the animation. Pyra/Mythra would get the small detail if they were hit during any point in their taunt animation involving Rex, Rex should also get hit and launched in the background at the same time Pyra/Mythra are hit to reference their connection in Xenoblade 2. Steve/Alex should get a taunt where they pretend to sleep on their bed before a message appears at the top left corner of the screen saying “You cannot fall asleep, there are fighters present” and they wake up abruptly. The Zombie alt can have a taunt where they extend their arms like the actual zombie and do the “Brrrrrr….” sound clip from Minecraft. The Enderman alt can open up their unused mouth texture just like an actual Enderman from Minecraft.
