Yay Marc. Now for some jazz inversions... some stacked 4ths might be cool.

Marc, I find your videos very helpful. Is there a way to apply this to the Sub Phatty? I don't have a minimoog and I would like to change the pitch between major/minor on the Sub Phatty using the mod wheel like you show in this video, but I can't figure out how to assign the pitch to the modwheel

Thumbs up for the detailed explanations about Major vs. minor chords. A for effort. But this does not solve or fix the issue for piano-minded players. Best option is to use Voyager as a polyphonic MIDI controller. This way you can play any inversion or voicing you desire.

Best to use a piano if that is the case. I am a drummer and I love synths like this. Their creative limitations allow me to exploit the fact that I can't do chords. xD

How do you get the voyager to play as a polyphonic midi ?
@Musicmanatlanta4 жыл бұрын
Fausto Maccario some software like Omnisphere allows this. My point however was that this is a very roundabout involved way of achieving something which is exceedingly easy using another method (software interface). Yes, a piano or other midi controller would also work but I love using my Voyager for *everything* when possible so yeah I get it.

Funny, but when doing chords of any imaginable kind....I would rather a DSI Prophet 08¡
@willmich18 жыл бұрын
Just get a Tetra or a Prophet 08.

dude are you coked out. timbre and chord theory are two different concepts that do not necessarily go together.
