I have the Brother Entrepreneur ProX PR 1050x 10 needle machine. I would love to order the DIME magnetic hoop but I'm not sure where to order it. I want to make sure I get the right hoop for my machine because every place I've found tells me there are no returns accepted. Can you tell me what hoop I need and where to order from? What is the name of the multi piece magnetic hoop? I've never seen those.
@PowerToolsWithThread2 жыл бұрын
Sure! This hoop is from Designs in Machine Embroidery (DIME). On the linked page, choose 'Multi-Needle' over on the left menu and then the resulting page will allow you to choose the size you want and your machine model in drop down menus. www.shop.dzgns.com/collections/designs-in-machine-embroidery-snap-hoop-hooping-systems?p=S1z1p1FgS This is an affiliate link for me where I make a small commission at no cost to you to help our family business. If you decide to purchase, thank you for using my link! These are not inexpensive, so when choosing a size, I took into consideration that I can always make smaller designs in a larger hoop, but I can't make a large design in a small hoop. I purchased the large 8x12 for my PR1055 and it's perfect for all my needs.

I have used Designs by Juju end to end quilting for at least 4 quilts. Each time I refer to this video and i learn something new! After 4 quilts, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it haha Thank you for all the tips, materials to consider using and for speaking so clearly with your instruction! Based on your advice, I even purchased the magnetic hoop, which I’ve used for so many projects other than end to end quilting.

I’m so encouraged that I can use my embroidery machine to quilt! I think this would work great to quilt individual blocks prior to stitching QAYG-style! Make your quilt sandwich and start quilting! Thanks!
@PowerToolsWithThread Жыл бұрын
You could do a QAYG using this method, but you'd have to stitch out the block first and then trim to size before connecting them. It will be difficult but I imagine it could be done.

I have several edge to edge embroidery design files from Designs by JuJu. It comes with a reverse design. This isn't explained in your KZbin and I'm curious if I need to use this if I'm quilting a 41x53 size quilt. Thank you for your response. I love watching you showing us how to do this.
@PowerToolsWithThread11 ай бұрын
Hi Kathy, At the time this video was made, designs with reverse point order were not available. DBJJ quickly realized that stitchers would want to do very large quilts so they began to include them into the design files about 4-5 months after this video was made. Yes, when you turn the quilt around, you will definitely want to change to the reverse point order designs.

Becky is so good at explaining things isn't she? How did you go? I'm not far behind you. I used one design on a placemat as my first. Loved the stitching. I learned what to pay attention to next time. The having a printout is a great idea, and I must get some of that tacky paper. Looks like it makes life easier! And the tip about the backing fabric. Imagine getting one lot done, and then finding out the backing isn't big enough to put it back in the hoop? Panic attack time! Lol
