As you were doing the first sketch I was thinking about the mirror line. Glad you added that.

When you started drawing this I thought why aren't you using mirror option then later I understood. That had to be the easiest part to draw so far yet the most complicated looking. Thanks for the lesson. This software is amazing.

Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial available. You're instruction was right on the money. I use DSM to design simple parts to import into TinkerCad, for 3D printing. I used the PULL function to create a ring (tube), rotating a circle from an axis. The Pull function works well. However, it does not render a smooth ring. You can see how it's made up of many short, straight tubes, where you can see the individual bands that make up the ring. Would this have something to do with preset rendering limits? When you try to make the same thing in TinkerCad, you can see the same banding, but worse, as it doesn't have a PULL function. And I understand that the program has it's limitations. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get smoother results. Thanks for your time.

After hitting the space bar and entering the dimension, you are hitting enter, correct? Do you use the ESC key to exit a command? These tutorials are great, Dave!

Thanks for watching Bill. Yes that's correct, enter the desired dimension than press enter. You can press escape or clink on the select key to exit a command.

This has nothing to do with your video, but I was looking to how to add text to a project, but I couldn’t find the text tool. I appreciate any help you could give.
