Coding difficulties and the unforgiving development schedule is what led to their restricted forms. You can technically use glitches to put those masks on, but interactions with Fierce Deity Link are nonexistent and putting on the Giant's Mask crashes the game.

Ocarina of time and majoras mask played a big part in my life growing up. I laugh now, but I remember when I was a kid. I bawled my eyes out when I saw this for the first time. My cousin was playing, and i was freaking out for him and the giants lol so silly. I was very soft, and seeing little Link fight such a force. Wielding the triforce of courage I gave myself an imaginary one. I grew up without a father, since I was 5. So having the courage to try, played a big role in making me who I've become. I remember as a teen I learned about the theory of this Link, and it sanked deep when I realized who the hero of time was in twilight. I went back through ocarina, majoras, and twilight one last time. And it hit different, even as a young adult. I say this now as an adult, because we could all be "met with a terrible fate". And although we can't revert time. This time, is your time and it isn't over, until it's over. So become the hero you want to be.

Great thing about MM3D, I can save before certain events. Makes recording other cutscenes SO much easier. Also I just fought Gyorg and what a fight it was. I was a bit...uh...not attentive to the clock and got to Gyorg with only 4:30 left on the clock (with time slowed down). Beat him with barely 2 minutes left. I went to the Great Fairy, then to clock town, saved, and then recorded this video.

You got the giants in the original order despite the fact that you didn't have to. I don't know if it is different from the original but in it you could just get the dungeon item like the Hero's Bow to move on to the next place. When I played the original the first thing I did was get the dungeon items, the fairy sprites, and the masks that I could get without defeating the dungeons before moving on to the next one. I remember completing the Mountain first so I could upgrade my sword, then the Canyon because I had some minor difficulty with the boss, Ocean and finally the Swamp. Each playthrough I got the boss remains in a different order.
