This song makes me think of my grandpa "Papa". I had the oppertunity to learn this song through this video. Papa could no longer see as his sight and overall health decreased, however he could still hear the music. I was able to play it for my Papa a few days after learning Desire for Departure. He has always enjoyed hearing his grandson play music. He passed away a few days after Thanksgiving. Thank you Papa, for supporting me in the things I love. I love you and I'll see you soon

Absolutely love listening to this instrument! I read the description, and I totally agree with you. Music is wonderfully mysterious much like a certain Higher Power I know ;)

Listening to this after just hearing Mark Klett's new video proves youtube has some of the greatest musicians in the world and I found them! Pardon me while I revel in your talent.

@@JoshuaMessick You are welcome. What a magical device youtube can be to allow independent musicians to bust out far beyond local performances and gaining admirers in a way flat out impossible before it. Artists like you and Mark and Leah (celtic metal) and a lot of others bring so much of your joy to so many now, and I am just grateful to be a part of the web of music that has been forged on the world wide web. Keep it up and we shall all celebrate together.

It's so very beautiful! I had hoped that you once would record that in a solo version. I like especially these solo-recordings because you are so very versatile with your Dulciforte and each single tone on this instrument sounds wonderful. This new version of Desire for departure sounds more sublime and with more depth. I am looking forward to your new CD!

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
