"Breathing is part of emotion." ~ Rande Howell Such a great kernal to unpack in that statement. In music "performance" or athletic "performance" breathing is key. Why would it not be in trading... omg it is so obvious, but such an elusive point.

Essentially, knowledge is one thing but mindset, is the gatekeeper to success. He is very refreshing to hear speak, certainly one of my favorite guest. I personally am struggling with mindset, especially on Mondays they are the worst. I would love to work with this fine fellow.

I definately suggest to watch his videos mindset is important as figuring out what and how to approach and see certain things in a traders mindset is a total must. But I meet a lot of traders who out too much importance into their mindset as trading is really about execution and to be able to use the data and organize it all to make better decisions. Trading will definately put into all sorts of situations therefore experience is what gives you wisdom in the longrun

Im on the journey of learning to master my mindset and keeping my mouth shut until Inhave fully analysed the situation at hand. You can study TA all you like but the mindset is key. I have been practising meditation and out of body experiences. I apply that to trading by disconnecting my conscious mind from the profit and loss of a trade and instead visualise winning a 'pattern' you have to forget about the money.

Please define for me the difference between focusing on performing vs focusing on winning. How do I focus on performance
@danielgarbaccio37132 жыл бұрын
If you win a trade and that was your goal, then you succeed and you're done for the day. No further action required. If you're focusing on performance, then you look at why that trade was green but more importantly ' how can you improve to make it better next time. This can be, 'how can I make more money out of the same trade' or 'how can I improve my win rate', 'how to improve risk management' etc. When you ask those questions and improve your trading every day, you will automatically make consistent money because you are trading well.

I believe trading is a skill. _Not_ a talent. We are born with certain in-built talents. For example, some people can produce beautiful artwork from childhood, having had no training at all. They were born with the talent inside them. A skill is something that is _learned_ either through repeated mistakes, or learning from others, or a combination of the two. Therefore, anyone with willingness to learn can _learn_ to trade, and develop it into a skill. Anyone can do it. It just takes work, like learning _any_ skill.

We are already in the big crash, inflation is a catastrophe. This CPI report is a colossal failure. To bring the housing market to a halt,the FEDS will have to pull all the stops . The unfortunate issues is that the other market are being decimated. If you want to stay green ,you have to rely on a lot of diversification. Currently up 15% and being careful. Still a better deal than leaving it in a savings or checking account yielding 0-1 percent interest.

is it really possible to change a mind's pattern? seems to me impossible. we don't choose our thoughts feelings.... You can work on improving some patterns or ignoring some weak patterns but not change patterns. Not even meditation can help, otherwise everybody would become a good trader. I might be wrong
@DesireToTRADE2 жыл бұрын
You can change a pattern but it takes time & repetition. That’s also how bad habits/patterns are learned. So you can unlearn them the same way but it takes a long time.
@TraderRoss2 жыл бұрын
Patterns will change by pain or pleasure easier than not having a feeling attached to it. Our feelings are a subconscious thought of the information in our brain at that time. As we practice learning better policy we will think different pattern thoughts over time.

Bro, Everyone is born innocent but we keep piling up the loads of beliefs through which we create the world in our mind, every moment. To come out of this shell, it's upto our freaking mind(self/ego) to let go and die at that moment and see the other side.. But, the self doesn't allow, as it fears it will die, if it let go on the other side.. No other force, operates us except our own mind. Either profitable or consistent or self sabotage.. it all depends on how thick our shell(ego/self) is... Until, there comes a point, where letting go is the only option, you come out of the shell... And that's the time taken to break your own shell(ego/self) When you truly realise that, you're are more than your body or mind, then what stops to be binder by your body and mind.. Just, go beyond.. Enjoy the death of ego ... Explore the other side of self... God/Creation hasn't made you to suffer.. rather, you're made to explore... With all resources ( body and mind ) 🙏😎

top tip for people who speak English as a second language... please speak more slowly!!!! many of you tend to speak VERY quickly with no gaps between words and it makes it very hard to understand you and there is no pacing or emphasis or nuance to your sentences.. just a blur of very quickly spoken words that take effort to listen to listen to how your guest speaks.. emphasise even the separate syllables and letters in words, steady pace in sentences.. EASY and a PLEASURE to listen to and understand.. NOT HARD WORK TO TRY TO DECIPHER.. thanks for doing the interview though.. i hope my points help you in future.. not even native English speakers talk so fast.. you seem like a really nice guy though.. best wishes to you from Rolland in Scotland
