That sounds simple, but make sure you know when not to use moving averages too! Thanks for watching!

Good stuff. You can make money in the market without Fibonacci and for me especially Elliot wave (I could never get Elliot waves to work).

You actually do NOT NEED to be right (ie have a successful trade) more than 50% of the time. As long as you trade the same amount every time, and set a stop loss that is LOWER than your profit exit, you WILL BE profitable in the long run. That is a mathematical fact. Of course it's even MORE profitable if you have an edge. But for example if you set your stop loss to HALF the amount of your profit exit, you only have to be right 33% of the time. Not 51% of the time. This guy seems to be focusing too much on the successful trade ratio instead of the stop loss to profit exit ratio (or r ratio). I'm very surprised that this guy doesn't seem to know this.

After testing 1000s of various strategy with EA coading i can tell you its not true. Without an edge you will lose but slowly.

@@thegoodthebadtheinternet4591 Incorrect. Look up Adam Khoo trade like a casino here on youtube. You only have to be right 33% of the time if you set your stop loss to half your profit exit. This is a mathematically proven in that video.

@@AJ-wp3pw 33% of the time would be break even. That 's just basic risk management. I wouldn't make grandiose claims that it's "mathematically proven". It's just simple math. Risk (R) to make (2R). You still need an edge on your entry to get to 2R without getting stopped out.
@AJ-wp3pw3 жыл бұрын
@@rootkitsune5948 Yeah no duh it's break even, genius. Obviously anything over 33% is thus profitable, so 33% is still the pivotal number in this scenario. And it's not a 'grandiose claim' to say that I can mathematically prove it is profitable, you jack ass. It is just a different way of saying it than you choose to use.
