I feel a scary staleness in my walk with God, my walk after Jesus, and my walk in the Spirit. I feel a horrifying complacency. This sermon is awakening my heart. Pray please that I work out the salvation that the grace of God has afforded me. Oh God, You are my Treasure!!!❤

I’m going through the exact same thing right now! I’m so glad I’ve been shaken up and awaken to my blandness in worship and how I wasn’t prioritizing the love of God and loving God above all other things! Don’t be discouraged despite the heaviness of this realization, my sibling in Christ. We’re blessed to be seeing this before it’s too late and we’re already fighting for our joy in the Lord just by searching and listening and trying to soak up this sermon. Let’s keep fighting the good fight and open our hearts to God to take wholly and fill fully 🙌🏼 amen

Me too, I don’t know what joy and delight feels like in the Lord. I am fighting so hard to follow Jesus and it’s scary that I feel I have no joy in the Lord

I have my eyes opened drastically last days by god. I prayed that god Takes away my Pride... Now He Shows me that i dont even Love HIM neeeeeearly AS i should. Please Pray for me. Are you afraid of losing salvation? I might be wrong but it seems to me you are, and if so, know that salvation can not be lost. There is enough proof for that in the Bible. Just to mention a few verses: "4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1: 4-5) "6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1: 6) Pray. Pray without ceasing (Luke 18: 1-8)

We are for Pastor John, but I really wish we would have just stuck with True Christianity... We have a lot of terms.. Christian Hedonism... I guess we needed that term to know that delighting, loving and worshipping creation over the creator is evil.

We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (sin is evil and it is the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus suffered soooo much for us, and that’s why He died on the cross for ALL our sins (past, present, AND future sins) and rose from the dead 3 days later! Jesus did all this because He loves us sooooo much, you can’t even fully comprehend it! And you may have eternal life with Him if you repent (to change your mind about Jesus, to believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord our God) and have faith in Him, then you will be saved! (Let’s make it clear that being a good person WILL NOT get you into Heaven! You can only be saved by the grace God will show you, if you repent and have faith in Jesus and in what Jesus did for us on the cross and that He rose from the dead 3 days after He died for us! ONLY THEN, will you will be saved)! And do not wait because you do not know when you will die (sit and think deeply about that. You have NO CLUE when you will die! Today could be your last day, tonight could be your last night. You can die in your sleep or even in the next hour!) I want you to realize how urgent and important it is to have Jesus! But if you have Jesus, you will NEVER have to worry! You won’t have to worry about school, family problems, life, or EVEN DEATH because you will have the LORD your GOD, RIGHT BY YOUR SIDE, EVERY SINGLE DAY, EVERY SINGLE HOUR, EVER SINGLE MINUTE and EVERY SINGLE SECOND of your life! GOD can help you through ANY challenge, through ANY hardship, and through ANY depressing time in your life! GOD WILL NEVER leave you, GOD WILL NEVER forget about you, GOD WILL NEVER betray you, GOD WILL NEVER forsake you, and GOD WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!! And that is why GOD is calling you RIGHT NOW to be saved!

Same situation, we just have to pray without ceasing. The good thing is that God wants and needs us to have joy in him for his glory, so it is possible for us to have this joy!!! All things all possible in our Lord Jesus Christ.
