This video came at a time so perfectly orchestrated. I am sleepless, and have been praying and praying for rest. Recently prayed for a man who confessed practicing witchcraft, and have been recieving attacks from the enemy since then. I can't sleep, and my mind keeps me awake thinking about the same person I prayed for. I know these are attacks from Satan, and I can't seem to shake the spirit of fear and anxiety from my mind in the middle of the night, but I know that joy comes in the morning. Please pray for me, YAH bless my brothers👊

i struggle with assurance of salvation every day, and it does keep me up at night sometimes. it drives me crazy and sometimes i will read the bible or a commentary or devotion obsessively because i’m waiting for some kind of confidence. i realize i just need to believe in Jesus’ finished work on the cross to be saved, and i frequently pray “Lord, i believe, help my unbelief.” i know that salvation is not dependent on emotions or my ability to work up faith in myself. creating saving faith is impossible for us. i’m grateful that Christ has shown me he is the only way, and i pray for more belief that his sacrifice and righteousness are truly for me

Hey, just wanted to say, you’re NOT alone in this experience. There are several things that have helped me stay the path and find comfort. Firstly, I find great comfort in the fact that I’m resting on/believing on what God has said/promised in the Bible. Trust what he’s said. Google a list of God’s promises. Secondly, I look at the fruit 🍉 of God working in and through me in my life. Looking at all the things he’s done for you and listing them will encourage you immensely too (I promise this works). Thirdly, read Romans (the entire book). Bank on this scripture as well, especially Romans 10:13. Hope this helps. I don’t like going through this either but as long as we’re alive there’s no escaping the pain of being in the flesh. I think not putting the old man and our old way of living is toxic to our spiritual lives. And the way we feel is a result of this oftentimes. There’s been many many times I found myself thinking wow there’s no way I could be a Christian after doing X, Y, and Z again for the hundredth time. I’m trusting in God though. He said he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins if we confess. PS- God just gave me this verse to further encourage you. Romans 15:4

Also, think of Salvation in terms of a court of law. You’re guilty and can’t pay the fine. Ask Jesus to cover your debt. Cry out to him to save you. Again, I encourage you to read Romans 10.

Hello, I am so sorry you deal with this. I think a lot of people do. I’d recommend reading Acts 1-2. For context, this is after Jesus died, rose again, and ascended into heaven. In acts 2 Peter is preaching to a bunch of people about the gospel of Jesus Christ and they ask in verse 37 “what should we do?” And Peter gives clear instructions to repent from your sins, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins- then they will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. That’s a promise to those people and every person the Lord will call. I followed these instructions in my own life, and when He gave me the gift of His Spirit- there was complete assurance in my life. It was a transformative experience and now I know with 0 doubt that my sins are forgiven and I’m walking in newness of life. I encourage you to take those steps and then seek after Jesus 💜

The yoke of Christ is easy and his burden is light (Mt. 11:10) Brother, if the Spirit dwells within you, God himself will make you stand firm. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (NIV) God bless you and give you spiritual rest 🙏

This is heartbreaking for me. I was diagnosed with narcolepsy in 2014 (before I was Christian). It hit me out of no where and resulted in a medical retirement from the USMC. I know that when God saved me he also delivered me, but I still had my sleep disorder, so it isn't always a sign of a spiritual attack. Regardless, if anyone feels like tossing in a stranger's name to their prayers, I'd sure appretiate it.

"Sustain Your Prayer Life with Sleep" Hmmm kind Sir...I believe one may use your methods, about prayer and sleep, etc. And things will get better... (Sorry for the VERY long "comment". But I do believe it NEEDS to be espoused)... ...but I don't think so. IE: I will use my wretched and rotten, sinful self as a template. When I did all the things your pastor preaches; for over 70 yrs. I had NO success. Really! But NO more now. For my life (at age 90 now) is so wonderful; I couldn't begin to describe it. Praise Jesus (who IS the only true God there will ever be). And it all began when I was 75 yr old. When I was dee[y bothered; "Why are there are over 3,500 'Different Denominations, with their Different Doctrines and/or Dogma's", etc! All over the world! And worse: EACH group says, "WE are right and they are Wrong! And We get it from the bible!" Yeah Right!... So Sad, but OH so True. So I finally got on my knees. And cried out to Jesus; about this satan-led "Chicanery" for 2,000 yrs. And I asked Jesus to give me "Wisdom, Understanding and the Truth. The whole truth and NOTHING but truth. AMEN"!. From then to this moment; my life has been turned into a person; believing: "that I am the richest person on earth"; because of what Jesus has given me in blessings. IE: My life is now joyous (even when bad things happen). And I am as happy as can be; and my life is so peaceful now. I can't believe it is that great. Not to mention; that I (not a rich man) have more money than I could ever have imagined; born as a poor person could be. NO debts now; except for my house mortgage. Which is nothing. Since I refinanced it last yr with a 2.65 interest APR, "30 yr fixed"; saving 365 dollars/mos. Which it's now; a whopping interest of 6.00 % APR; and rising every day. May Jesus have mercy! Thus, I pray to Jesus EVERY day. And sometimes upwards of 10 times a day! Really. And I take Jesus with me; with EVERY thing I go and do. And the more I pray now; the more He blesses me with gifts Un-describable. Believe it or not! And I do NOT use the word God. Rather I use His NAME that is Jesus. Praise His Holy Name. The most precious name that will ever be on this Old Earth. Really! And I truly love Jesus with ALL my "heart, soul and mind"! Try it Brethren! It WORKS: if you are really sincere and believe in NOTHING but Jesus! Who is the ONLY "inerrant and Infallible" entity; there will ever be. I Promise! End of Story and I rest me case... ...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray OFTEN and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!

John Piper, this was your prayer for Donald Trump on Jan 20, 2017: "Until that day Lord, in your wonderful providence, “The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will” (Proverbs 21:1). So, guard him from folly. Guard him from stupid decisions that would damage people, damage America, damage the church. Guard him. Superintend him and the congress in such a way that, beyond their explanation, things turn in a direction that makes for the kind of good that, even though it may not have faith in it, would have the form of faith in justice and love." Thank you, John, for praying this for Donald Trump. The Lord Jesus answered your prayer, and brought us 4 years of brilliant leadership (not perfect, mind you) that the church is still reaping the benefits of (does Jun 25th ring a bell?). Tell me, John: have you ever thanked God for answering your prayer?

The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These useless phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people questioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salvation that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all unrighteousness and those who follow get indignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sinners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sinners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new position in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. Give them the clear assured answer “Yes And let me tell you why Find more free resources at: www.graceambassadors.com
