I used to mock God, Christ, and Christians. I was very outspoken about the non-existence of God. About 5 years ago Christ called me and I responded. It wasn't a flash, it was gradual over a year or so but I am now a Christ follower!!! I never had hope before. I lived for myself (unfortunately I still stumble from time to time). When I look back I'm so ashamed. But the Bible says I'm made new. Thank you Father for your love and patience! Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice and obedience! Thank you Spirit for your guidance! In Jesus' name, Amen!

This reminds me of something Calvin said: "People will not be won to Christ by scolding". How many times I have been guilty of scolding.

Thank you so much, touches my heart of a season God walked me through but different than I am walking thru now. This is true, completely He reigns over it all. Every promise is true. 1 Peter 1:3-9.

If we live righteously bearing the fruit of the Spirit and loving our brothers and sisters they will feel shame without us actually doing anything 'toward' them. By our lives we show God.

Thank you for posting this. I hope the Christian community grabs ahold of this and starts applying instead of Bible thumping and condemning. Unbelievers do not know God and therefore do not know his expectations... Show them Jesus instead so that they may be changed by Him! 😊

Shame means that a person actually has a conscience. It sounds like you are more concerned with how others perceive you than living and speaking the truth. I assert authority when challenged or when liberals(Abortion) attempt to get me to acquiese to their position; then the hammer comes out and yea they experience shame or more like horror. The end result is that I will always be in their mind at that point and acting as a part of their psyche when they attempt to later to engage in the same behavior. I am willing to take the judgement of others especially very attractive women, where you see virtually all guys fold like a ton of bricks. Weak men revert to being nice and call it being a good Christian, where in reality they just gave the power over to the woman on contact thru a form of worship. Most men rarely evaluate a woman based on her actions seduced by her beauty, or they go into auto-rejection mode and passively attack the woman, because she would never be interested in them. Our behavioral, responses are rooted thru the lens of our unfulfilled intimacy needs. This is the crux of the trap of humanity, really rooted in the Oedipal complex, which is the byproduct of Original sin. My behaviors usually are spontaneous and never pre-meditated, I never go looking for trouble, but sometimes people come to me thru challenge, so they can be freed, since they are incapable of freeing themselves. This requires a tremendous amount of trust in God and a well developed understanding of human nature through many interactions, over the course of my life in all areas. The commonality in reactions has become very obvious since the election. There are two camps forming right now, based on those either with the holy spirit and those without it. I see the rapture as a process of the separating the wheat from the tares. Now, is not the time to be accepting of sinful behavior, but rather bold and courageous, plus it feels great. Proper use and control of the word, is the battleground; finding your voice is essentlal to being Christian in the face of opposition. The enemy always flees now when I open my mouth, it is kind of funny to watch sometimes..

Well I've shamed the whole damned Christian Church ......I began speaking in Tongues and interpreting 18 years ago.....and I verbalized "I have to divorce my Jezebel Wife" well all the Christians who also speak in Tongues said "That's not God ,God doesn't tell you to divorce , that's YOU saying that, that's not God" so I divorced....and I have been excommunicated 8 years now..For doing the right thing. The Harlot is exposed....so get out of her. "Ba Ba Ba" is Jacob in Tongues ,the Spirit doesn't speak of Jesus ..Jesus is Fraternity.....Jesus is Harlot. The Churches are shamed BY THEIR OWN HAND>
