The World of Pierre I have a question. I’m planning to buy the 2017 5k imac with the Radeon Pro 580. As we all know, it comes with two 4GB ram sticks. I want to add 32gb more, with two 16gb sticks but I cannot afford both in the same time. The second one will probably come in the summer. I know that ram sticks work best in couples but do you think there will be a big performance hit if I just use the 4+4+16? I cannot find a clear answer online. Some people say no, some people say yes.

Hello mate, well I am about to do the same 8GB is not enough image and video editing and I didn't want to pay premium for the 32GB. I will get the 16GB soon and see how it goes with 24GB. Make sure you get your iMac with a 10% off. Wait for an offer you will save quite a bit of money to pay for the ram :)

As for the 10% off, I live in Greece and unfortunately Apple does not have official stores here, only authorized resellers and they tend to increase the pricing, not the other way around. Hehe

You just need to break your mouse hand in and get a proper designer claw. Then the magic mouse is fine for video editting :)

+Andryuha Domnik Good to hear. Well it depends what you are into. I like creative work so I have the full Creative Cloud Suite from Adobe and I have Steam installed for all my video games. That's about it, I do not have a lot of other software. Maybe a good free antivirus. I am using AVG, pretty good.

Hello mate, I use the Adobe Suite. Lightroom for photography and Premiere Pro for videography. Love these software, they are very simple to use :)
