2:35 i got a little confused here, but then i figured it out. I'm using DeSmuMe to play Lost in Blue on my laptop using my keyboard. Before watching your video I looked up a tutorial on how to open the emulated game's Z7 file and that's how I was introduced to 7-Zip. The problem was (i think , if i remember correctly) it extracted it to an nds file that i didn't have a program to open it with (other than firefox, but that still wouldn't launch the game). That's how I got to your video. But because I started with the other tutorial first, I thought I had to open it with the same 7-Zip process. Buut then I tried it again and realized I needed to open it using the DeSmuMe window, clicking File, and Open ROM. and now I've got it! the title screen is running and the music is playing. yay! Thank you so much

Indeed!!! and I haven't been able to lightly say that. By the way, one thing: I'm playing heart-gold, but it doesn't keep a saved file... What do I do about that? where does it put my saved file or doesn't it put it anywhere? (I replayed it because my top screen got a glitch and then when i went in a house to have that go away, so did the whole screen (it just went irrevocably black) edit: I do have one question as it turns out: I tried to trade from pokemon heart-gold on the pc to platinum on android, but my charactors don't seem to be able to meet, seeing as they don't appear to each other in the union room. Is it common that they don't connect or is there something I could do in order to trade anyway? For I'd like to evolve some pokemon. It was the reason I got myself logged in on desmume. edit 2.0: Please respond.

I have a very low-end computer. To make games run properly, I had to disable advanced bus-level timing in the emulation settings, and enable the dynamic recompiler also in the emulation settings. In the 3D settings I turned off high-precision color interpolation. Went from choppy and unplayable to smooth

btw for anyone watching this video who has tried to play pokemon heartgold on a different emulator and experienced crashes, this emulator will fix that. I tried playing on no$gba and it crashed way to much for me to enjoy the game, and i tried different roms to see if the rom was broken. eventually i tried this emulator and i havent had a single crash 2 hours in which breaks my previous record of 7 Edit: Thanks UGC!!

Hey bud another great video ! So i’m playing a DS rom with my son and there is an area in the game that is asking to blow into the ds microphone. Is there away to simulate this? Im using an xbox one controller and a mouse for the stylus. The game we are playing is Shaun the sheep. Everything else seems to be working great, just stuck on the microphone. Site is down apparently with no news on when its getting back up, Creator backed up all versions from 5 onward and other files you may or may not need(if your just trying to play the games) KZbin is really weird when links get posted sometimes and even if they didn't i wouldn't advise you EVER click on a link in a KZbin comment (ever, God only knows where it will really send you) so I'm not gonna do that buuuuuuuuuuuut in the r/DeSmuME subreddit one of the most recent posts "Is desmume website down me nor my friend can access it" has a comment from one of the subs mods linking to a google drive folder with the most relevant files. Says he has no idea why its down, and since he doesn't know why its not working he has no idea when it will be back up. looked up a tutorial video, mostly since i couldn't find a link and this was where i was pointed first so hopefully it will help someone. ~Cheers
