the postprocessing shaders and magnification filter options are grayed out? can you tell how to use those visual filters ? they can make the game look way better

are you getting small stutters? looks like it in the vid . and im getting small ones aswell, its not a smooth 100 percent motion clarity. the orginal emulator is smoother with settings turned off . this one adds some stutter. im trying to fix it

I am having some issues with one of the game I downloaded that is dragon ball supersonic warriors 2. Like some of the stuff just don't show up on my screen this hasn't happened to me for any other game apart this, if you have a solution please tell how do I fix it.

You used Colors for showcase and I just wanted to say: The special stages are god damn hard with mouse. I remember these being pretty easy on DS. Playing with mouse isn't the worst, but what makes it difficult is the delay when moving. Any way to fix the mouse touchscreen delay? This is a pretty sweet emulator, but I do wish I could change the background to black or a dark color in general

Great video. Curious if anyone knows if you can have multiple separate instances of a game running at the same time? I want to hunt shiny pokemon and want to have multiple states to increase my odds. Is this possible on desmume? I know you can have multiple windows open at once, but they are the same instance. Thanks!

you are my king my computer is no longer a pc it's an emulation evolution and every last emulator I use I have found a guide on your channel I would fight for you on a global scale sir you don't understand how nice it is to play so many games I wanted to as a child but my mother couldn't afford that goddess provided for me so I could survive and you sir have made it to where now I can help her with all my money with no worry of retro consoles being overpriced or just too high for what I need thank you as you have saved my family from the curse known as gamers DEBT!!! i got a very strange error with this version of desume, i have a sound error when i first opened desume it said that: " xaudio2create error this is usually caused by not having a directX release installed " and " unable to initialize direct sound " does anyone know what this means. Oh and yeah whenever i play any game no audio is heard

QUESTION: is this emulator backwards compatible with the Game Boy Family series of games? Or is it strictly DS games only?

Typically emulators work with 1 generation so this emulator works only with DS titles similar to how Citra only works with 3ds games not standard DS games and PCX3 only plays PS3 titles not PS2 titles

when i config controllers it just goes down the line and puts seemingly random buttons on the config and i cant do anything edit: im using a switch pro controller

you can play with keyboard controller is just suggested because its a similar feeling to using the handheld controls

I use melon ds on my pc with a ps4 controller Bluetooth to the pc. It's pretty easy to use other than finding some cheats that work

You can run Pokémon HackROMs on DesMuMe DS Emulator. It should run regardless without issues so long that it is stated as an NDS file format. However, I cannot guarantee the same if the HackRom itself you are playing was poorly made or corrupted at certain points. You have to do your own homework on that for the ROM you want to play.

im tryna play pokemon black and its not working. i followed the steps and its a nds file and everything. i did this on a diff pc and it worked perfectly fine. do you know what the problem might be? edit: i got the regular version of desmume and it works now so ig it was something with the modified version? still doesnt really make sense since it worked on a diff pc but whatever

download the whole folder, dont go inside the folder, just download from what first comes up. hope this helps

Check and play around with your DesMuMe sound settings. But before that, check your own PC speakers and sound settings.
