Yep I had all these symptoms. 2016 soul . Changed plugs , cleaned throttle body . Cleaned MAP sensor. Added liquid moly to the gas . Every thing is back working like new .

Pro Mechanic here, I had a 2011 Prius that was bad enough to not accelerate at all (during gas engine time) and stalling. Percentage at pedal was fine (live scanner data) and at t-body erratic or none. No Codes!!

My 2006 Chevy Malibu starts good, idles good (800-1000RPM) drives good through first gear and second. The moment i mash it to the floor or even try going uphill or getting on the highway it loses power and bounces at 3-4krpm making it shift harder. The check engine light will come on for a couple seconds and then it shuts off (no check engine light on currently so i cant run the code)

Very helpful video, I just bought an '86 Toyota MR2 Mk1a and after my first highway drive the engine sounds very rough, the car stalls when coming to a stop, and idles at about 600rpm, would the throttle body be a culprit?

I'm having this problem with my car when Im at a full stop at a traffic light and just letting my car idle out my steering wheel will shake and the car its self would shake and jerk, and all of a sudden when I accelerate my steering wheel would stop shaking, and my car would jerk or feels like it is going to die out even burbles coming out from my muffler, but when I fully step in gas pedal the car would run normal when I accelerate fast.

Might be something in your suspension, or you may need alignment/ tire rotation or new tires

Would a bad throttle body cause the revs to be much higher? I hardly press the accelerator and it goes up high

Hi, and thanks for watching! It could be that or the gas pedal (if it's an electronic one) but it can also be other things. But usually, in the case of the throttle body, it does not cause very high revs but unstable revving.

i also have fabia, and it went complete to shits, it barely keeps up idle after i did throttle adaptation, it has almost 0 reaction to gas. i changed almost everything except throttle body, because it adapts ok, and a can read the throttle position sensors fine (but they are the same, not oposite of each other)

I have a 203 MK 4 golf 1,6 petrol sometimes when I am driving the car cuts out suddenly this sometimes happened more when the weather is worm outside , and sometimes it judders I have changed the spark plugs and the four silver tubes that attaches to the spark plugs, but the problem is still there could this be the Throttle body causing this issue?

Hi and thanks for watching! It could be numerous things besides the throttle body. Usually, when the throttle body is faulty, the car goes into limp mode and completely loses power. That was the case on my Skoda, besides limp mode three dashboard warning lights came up at the same time.. There's a video about the whole problem on our channel.

Could be bad spark plugs. Most cases your engine is running lean (dry), worst case scenario the transmission took a hit.
