For those saying buy online, you can't for this, it shows out of stock everywhere.

As a mother of a preemie baby, I also empathize with y’all. We had our child in 2017 and I couldn’t imagine having my infant hospitalized for months during Covid and struggling to find NeoSure. If it was tough back then, I can’t even imagine what the NICU is right now. As a mom, you can’t pump exclusively and expect to produce the same amount of milk as a mother who physically feeds her baby. That pretty much broke me whenever I couldn’t catch up with my daughter’s needs. And having no other choice seeing that the formula is next to gone, I don’t know what I’d do. The parents should check in with their local WIC clinics. That’s where I got mine because in my local grocery stores NeoSure wasn’t sold there only the blue Similac. I think they should be able to buy the formula there.

My heart breaks for all parents dealing with this shortage. I hope as the stores restock, they restrict purchases to 1 or 2 cans at a time. I know 1 or 2 cans doesn't seem like much when we have had such a limited supply, but if that is what it takes to allow everyone that needs the formula to get some then that is what should be done. Parents of children using formula should be able to understand the reasoning for the restrictions and should be willing to let others have a chance to get the formula needed for their kids. It's horrifying to think this family had to drive for so long just to be able to feed their daughter. No one should have to go through that much trouble to make sure their family is taken care of.

This is the best time to pushing for more help and better education to promote breastfeeding! It's the best thing you could ever do for your baby and safer than canned formula, especially for one who's born premature. I know for some there can be difficulties but with some proper education, help and patience, most issues can be alleviated. I know way too many women who just quickly and easily give up if the become frustrated. That makes me angry that more tax payer funding is tagged for ridiculous programs but it seems like many areas still don't have much help for new moms and breastfeeding.
