That’s so true & helpful, thank you! It’s the fortress that saves & protects my soul, not my running that is the ordained means of grace. When I heard the Q&A, it also popped into my head how a kid could ask for something he wants/needs from his parent who will supply. It’s not the asking (a means of grace like prayer, Scripture, etc) that earns the gift/supply, is it? It is the trustworthy parents, on whom the boy relies, who supply from their own labour. Not the child’s own character, earnings or labour! It’s all the parents who simply want him to - run to them, seek or ask. The Lord is indeed our fortress. Prov 18:10. Thank you! 🙏😊

I want to speak this to everyone here and who will come, to remember this, that we are 100% dependant upon Christ and his grace in Salvation yes, but remember this, that this fight against sin is a fight that we are now able to fight. For example, we shouldn't look upon a woman to lust, its up to us to walk in the victory we now have through Christ. The Lord will guide us to do whats right, and he will show us the way, but he will not force us to walk in it. As children of the Lord its up to us to yeild and walk in truth.

Many will reject this wisdom because most Christians are caught up in their good deeds and ‘sacrifices’. In fact every choice we make for God is a choice against depravity. Too many Christians expect a reward for choosing Christ to learn what this pastor is saying. About the steps after those choices.

Palestine? Are you a replacement theologist? There was Canaan. There was the land where the Philistines lived. But Palestine was a name given by a Roman Emporer to DISPARGE the Jews in the land of Israel. ISRAEL. God named it. God gave it to the Jews. All through the Bible. It is the Promised Land. For the Chosen People. We are the Church, we are not the Jews. There is a difference. When a preacher tells a lie, stop listening to him. Thank the Lord they are not killed as in Old Testament.

To you are there Jews in the Church or was Peter and Paul outside the church? The bible is clear, just after Jesus went to Heaven all but a few believers (Paul, Peter and the apostles etc) were broken off the Israel olive tree. Imagine a huge tree with all the branches broken off except a small few at the top (a few Jewish believers). Then except for wild branches (gentiles) who are grafted into the Israel olive tree, only those jews who believe in Christ are grafted back into the Israel olive tree from that day forward. That would mean today there are no God's people outside that Israel olive tree, correct.

Canaan was also the name of a son of Ham, who was accursed--way before Abraham's time (and God did not call the land by that name when He spoke in Genesis either). It matters little what they call it--Abraham's given inheritance was the whole world (Rom 4:13) and not just a tiny piece of land in the middle east!
