Desperate Lately?

I decided to not go to school today because I wanna get back on track with God. I'm dedicating this day to him, so my relationship with him can be strong again. This might sound weird but to me it isn't. Once you're saved all you think about is pleasing him and praying to not lose that spirit. I haven't lost the spirit I've just become soooo unrighteous and I just want to focus on moving the way God has planned for me to do. Even though though not going to school for today isn't right, this is something I need to happen. I want to have a one on one with God. I thank God for you and for this video because I kid you not, every video you upload applies to my life and I know it's God who leads me to your videos. I'm 18 now and though I'm young, I still yearn of Christ and there's a lot that I need to work on. Thank you so much and God bless you

Jesus Jesus!!!! This a right on time message... God craves our alone time and life feels different when we are not really being authentic with Him. What scripture came to my mind was What does a man profit if He gains the whole world but loses His soul? God is ALWAYS there for us and we need to be the same way with Him!

This was such a great reminder to believers that we must return to our first Love (Revelation 2:2-4). We tend to get so caught up with doing the "things of God" that we forget that our first priority is loving on Jesus...is ministering to Jesus...is spending time with Jesus. Thanks for this sis :)

Amen sister! I think we are all sort of guilty of loosing that hunger for GOD when things settle in after a big breakthrough moment. It's almost a habit to look for him mostly in time of need. I really really need to work on this!! Our relationship with the Lord is like a fire that you have to feed over and over again so it can keep burning stronger. Let's all commit to do better!

it's funny, before clicking I already knew what this video is about. I've felt the same way. Sometimes I would rather do anything before spending time with God In 1 Peter 2:2 it says the Word is what makes us grow, so why am I denying God the opportunity to work in me? So, what I've decided is if I don't feel like praying or reading my Bible-I do it anyway. I would rather go to God, then He have to set things up for me to come to Him. If you know what I mean. LOL.

there was a guest on sid roth, its supernatural who said he was seeking God one day for something (the answer to a question. he spent hours in worship and communion with the lord. just as his family pulled into the driveway, the lord told him the answer to the mystery/question. and so the minister asked god, why did you take so long to tell me? you coulda told me hours ago. why did you wait til the last minute when my family is coming home to answer me?' and the lord answered very simply and said, 'i wanted to spend more time with you....' he has a very sweet personality, that's what people don't realize. I keep researching what jesus is really like. I even have a video about it on my channel if u wanna check it out. nothing compares to gods love!!!!
