When I was looking for a church home (I found one 🙌🏿) I stepped into a apostolic church. And, woo... I didn't know if the were praising the Father, the Son or their 'apostle'. Like... God Spirit was telling me 'leave, leave now '. They had a poster up with a member's name because they donated more than anyone. I guess I needed to learn that every church isn't a house of God. The church is near my house, whenever I drive past I shake my head and say a prayer for them. Like, you said if you even read the bible, it tells you Christ is the only mediator. Anyway, your video reminded me of the weirdest Sunday of my life. ✌️

Tithing is NOT for the new covenant. It's ALL about the money with them....so sad. My husband and I left organized churches also! We're called to help those in need. Think about ALL THE MONEY the churches all over the world get from all the people. HOW IN THE HECK IS THERE STILL SO MUCH POVERTY?? Because they are NOT really helping those who REALLY need it. The pastor's are using it for payroll and to live on themselves! Such a crime...Lord help us!

Now a days they only talk about God is love he forgives prosperity and abundance.. not about sacrificing everything for Him, that regardless if he is love and forgiving that we must live Holy and follow his commandments , nothing about hell or sinning and repentance. God is a great God but we must also fear Him. We serve the almighty we must change our ways and live off the word not flesh pleasures! God is good the more you seek him the more you find him and the more you find him the more you love him. Being a Christian is hard but he fills you up with joy of pleasuring Him. We must become less and he must become more. Keep speaking the truth sis! God loves that!

I was in the same situation just finishing up my freshman year of college, but I encourage you to look into a Pinky Promise on your campus, a bible study, & good church home. You'd be surprised how many other believers you're truly surrounded by on campus. :)

Hi, there are similar churches like the GO in London. Check out lighthouse chapel international. They have various branches in London like in nun head, Kensington, Croydon, thamesmead etc. I hope that helps as you will be fed with the true gospel plus you are encouraged to preach the gospel to others. Basically our motto should all be "seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you, Matthew 6:33.

Real talk. Good stuff love your channel. It's crazy out here but you know what God warn us about flase preachers and the prosperity gospel. Ppl feed into it bcuz that's what's in their heart and if a church can feed there soul on what they can get and not correct it well they going to keep going. God tells us to guard our heart it's so much out here. I love Cornelius and heather I pray for them that they continue to preach what the world says and not turn from it. I'm so happy I found your videos! I've been watching them for the past few days and I'm so happy to find a young Christian who actually uses the Bible to practice their faith. I'm reaffirmed Christian and trying to cut things out of my life detramental to the walk with Christ and it's so hard but your videos make it easier, so glad I'm not alone! You have the sweetest spirit, and I've been to these types of churches and didn't stay long - I just read the Bible and live by it's teachings, and am blessed to have a family of beleivers so we talk about The Word and grow in our faith together. Hey Chelsey, first and foremost, Im extremely grateful that you have the courage to speak about Jesus especially in these biblically illiterate times. I just wanted to state that saying the church's name would be more benefitical to your listeners than not, and reason being is if were not sharping each other those people will continue to be fooled. I believe a lot of people who seek Christ in the beginning dont realize that most churchs have married the world, so in actuality those big mega church's would be the last place to find him. So saying the name could potential steer them away from those false teachers. Dont be afraid to discredit them especially since they direspect our Father with no remorse. I love you! I've been watching your videos since coming across your channel last week and I am so inspired by you! Thank you for not being afraid to speak truth! I find that I leave church more drained than when I went in because it seems like a production more than a space of worship, and that's just not right. I went to a church where I didn’t feel like my soul was being fed. These people at this church were just singing all the time and preached for just 10-15 minutes. I didn’t feel convicted of anything. I didn’t feel god presence in that church so I stopped going and I am still searching for a church.

started watching this with scepticism (because of the title) but I now have a new friend in my head. We have very similar stories and I love it when i find people who crave pure spiritual milk. In deed we are not here to chase money and materialism, we are here for God to be glorified through us and by us and that calls for purity. Thanks for sharing. I have been torn. In my community there is this church, the pastor wasn't kicked out but he wasn't wanted as a pastor anymore because of "something he hid in the past"... he took a lot of people from that church and he went to make his own church and said he was kicked out. So it was like 2 churches fighting, they even took it to court! but the pastor who had left the church to make his own didn't win the case. He wanted to take over that church he was being "kicked out" from but he didn't win... a few months pass, the church court thing is settled, you know life goes on, it doesn't really concern me... then I became a Christian not long ago. I didn't know which church to go! I went to that church that everyone had left. It's empty... I wondered if I was in the right church. Recently the church that didn't win the case, had a camp meeting. It was a big thing, everyone posting about going to the camp meeting, SO MANY people and youth got saved! I was happy... I started seeing the youth that got saved from that church, backsliding so fast! I see now how to look for the Holy Spirit in a church. I believe now that I'm in the right church. Amen. I cannot. . .CANNOT, believe that the dude was flying over the crowd with a harness. Like, how much time/ money went into that?! That's just stupid. Many are called and few are chosen. The older I get, and the more I grow in Christ, the more I see that there are precious few Christians, sadly. It's so sad, people are so deceived. And when you try to warn people, you're mean, judgmental, "doing too much", church-bashing, extra, etc. Anyway. Thanks for keeping it 💯 Quick question though; how do you know if you should leave or help make the change?? My personal experience is I was in my home church but I never really learned much. The pastor was big on prosperity gospel. I left for college and I have learned so much from this new church and I’m just burdened on what to do next? Part of me wants to go back and maybe help turn things around. But I’m also afraid that I’m gonna miss out on learning new things from my current church. My home church also help me a lot back than and I’m not sure if it’s out of the guilt that I’m even thinking about going back. Also I’m afraid of all the stress that might come with one little gal trying to change people minds/view. I’m praying but any word of wisdom will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I do agree with tpu5on most things, especially, when you said our spirit should be fed in church as well as study on our own. Yeah, the church is one body, but with different functionalities. The Holy spirit is the Lord of the church and in His wisdom made different denominations to function distinctively while bringing glory to Him. No 2 churches or denominations are the same. There are different callings and ministries ..different graces and gifts for the perfecting of the saints. church A can have a year of repentance but church B can have the year of flourishing..it doesn't mean there's anything wrong.

People nowadays and even in the past think that it's how good their works are how good their lifes are how righteous they are but at the end of the day that's not going to matter the only way we're going to enter into the kingdom of God is through the blood of Jesus is because if we don't have the blood of Jesus. We are not going to make it in. There's going to be a lot of people that think there going to make it into heaven is because of the lifestyle they were living but are not because they don't have Jesus.

I just wanted to say that I stumbled upon your channel and wanted to say Amen. This problem has been going on for a very long time, in black as well as white churches, where the word of God is not preached. You said something in this video that all of your listeners need to heed.That it is important to READ THE WORD OF GOD FOR YOURSELF!!! In Acts 17:11 The Bible says that the Bereans Jews check, search the scriptures daily to see if what The apostle Paul and Silas were teaching the truth. The Bible says that the Spirit will lead us in to all truth. He can't if we are not in HIS WORD... I pray that you have found a church that is teaching the word. I know that the Spirit of God is in you because has revealed the truth to you because in this day and age people just want to be entertained. Not knowing they are setting themselves up for the great falling away described in Matthew 24. god bless you sister encourage you to remain strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
