PSA: Pet rabbits do not belong in cages. If you are considering getting one, prepare to let them free roam (while bunny proofing the house!) similar to a dog or a cat, or at the very least give them their own room or a very large enclosure. Keeping a bunny in a cage is animal cruelty, even if you let it out for a couple of hours a day. Those big hind legs are meant to be used for hopping around! You'll also find that bunnies are very curious, sociable and downright hilarious pets full of personality if you let them live outside of a cage. Caged bunnies become depressed and usually die quite young from some kind of illness such as GI stasis as their GI track slows down from not getting enough exercise. Btw, bunnies can fairly easily be litter trained like a cat, as they are naturally clean animals!

I’m currently living with my mom with a 4 year old and my uncle and his girlfriend use to live here.., they moved out a couple days ago but the guest room (my daughter room) was very junky, the hallway was junky, the bathroom was junky and my room! I can confirm that small steps often help when tidying up. I am very lonely and overweight, so I often have no motivation and suffer from depression. I also have severe back pain. I combine tidying up with walking to the kitchen or toilet. Then I take a few things and put them away. But it takes almost the whole day. I used to use a lot of dishes, pots and pans and didn't wash them. If I wanted to cook something fresh, I had to wash them first and then I had no motivation. Now I wash up straight away, even if it's just one plate or one pan. I feel a little more comfortable and I can have visitors over without having to wash up first.

One pot/one pan meals are a blessing when it comes to doing dishes. I love using my instant pot equivalent for that reason. Finding ways to slow down the accumulation down to a level you find easy is also important. Keep up the good work! Taking a little bite of the mess here and there every day will take you soooo far in getting a clean home. An overwhelming mountain of laundry isn't so daunting if there's only 5 clothes on top that need to be put away today. The pile of dishes isn't so bad when just 5 of them need to be washed. Cleaning a messy room isn't impossible anymore if you're only cleaning a 3ft square every week.

I moved out when I was 17 after my mom died from cancer and a friend of mine was 15 and living on her own. I never had SUCH a messy home but still I suffer from depression after my mom’s passing and it gets very untidy but I always manage a chance to get myself out of the bed eventually. Sometimes it takes longer. I’m really happy such a great person like Auri exists and gives people a fresh start.

I remember quite awhile ago you said you had been quite ill and didn't realize it for a time. I'm glad that is in the past and you're healthy again. You do so much for so many. I like the videos of one or two areas of one home, followed the next week with a second video of other areas of the same home. I think you might have posted a three part cleaning once ... Was it the beautiful home a widows husband had built and the renters had nearly destroyed it? I think that was the home the renters had never used the shower choosing to put a cabinet in front of it. Didn't one of the renters stay in the garage when you cleaned, and then offered you coffee? (You politely declined the coffee.👍) That was a big job, though as always, you did all you could do to help the homeowner.

For me personaly I always clean when I feel like it is needed. So example my bathroom is cleaned all 1-2 weeks but the toilet weekly and anytime I think the sink or mirror is dirty (cause it gets dirtiest of my bathroom faster) I clean whenever I notice it's dirty. For the kitchen I wash dishes around 2-3 times a week and only when I finished the dishes, I clean the kitchen. I vacuum clean only when I notice it needs to be done and same goes for dust cleaning. I only take trashes out when the bags are full, so I don't waste the bags, since most trashbags can be expensive cause here in Germany you only get the yellow trashbags for plastic for free from the city. But you also need to consider to not waste them either, cause you only get 2 packs of the yellow bags in a year and depending on what you trow away and how many you might need to get more, but you can only have 1 new role per 6 months in my city so if you need more than 2 packs of yellow garbage bags in 6 months than RIP cause they do not care (which may suck for large families)

Beautiful and excellent job!!! I wish I had energy to clean like I used to. I definitely need help in some areas, but watching videos here is inspiring me to do little by little. Honestly, it’s amazing at how fast trash does pile up and when one lives in an area with no trash pickup and your cars not running and you can’t Uber to the trash dump, it’s definitely makes life awful. Not to mention everything must be separated now, each different plastics must be separated according to number, different bin for paper, types of cardboard separated etc....smh. I can’t wait till I get my car driving again, I only get rides to medical facilities and twice a month to grocery store since it’s 40 miles away to the store. Messes drive me crazy, so I just have piles of trash bags full just waiting to be dispose of, but things did look like this place for a little while because I could barely move from treatments, I was too weak. But slowly getting better, and having a clean home is a happy home.

My mother never cleaned anything. I did it. I had to learn how from an early age. Our family home would have been a complete mess otherwise and noone would have been fed either.
