So the suit guy was GMan from Half-Life. Isekai is an anime genre where normal muggles end up in magical worlds somehow. Usually by truck-kun. I thought the meatball was a Carrion reference but it's just C-19. Not sure what the barman thing was. Times Are Great though cos it made me think of 34-R.

I was going back through Tom's catalogue to see if I had missed anything, and his Despotism 3K series was one that I had missed! I watched it, and got super super obsessed with that game for a bit >,> Afterwards though, I reached out to the dev by email asking him for advice on game dev stuff, and they responded! They were really nice, gave some really solid advice for what worked for them, and generally were just super cool. That plus the fact that their games are super super cool, makes me really love their stuff all the more. If you haven't tried their games yourself, I highly, highly recommend them!
