I was a first mate then captain in Destin for a little over 20years. Very familiar with Harbor Walk village and they have gotten real proud of themselves if they are charging 20$ to park. They never used to charge. They are ripping people off.

@@TheFirstTimers ok Always get an older person to help you with navigating Destin. I remember the tight knit fishing community from the 70s and 80s. Alot bigger and different,(for the worse),than it used to be. I guess we can't escape change.

Bananas on a boat are considered bad luck. It started back when merchant ships carried fruit. Bananas would go bad faster than other products and the rot would spread throughout.

I have been fishing on the Swoop for 10 years now. Party boats are my favorite way to go deep sea fishing. It's not expensive and you get to meet new people all the time, like the first timers.

Stationary boats or a very slow moving boats on a rough sea will make you seasick faster 100%
