It's just icebreaker which is a dungeon drop not anything separate so this is still really disappointing (even though I am excited for ice breaker) ALSO yes I know about the layoffs, this is being critical to the higher ups of leadership not the devs taking the fall.

The reason the 10th Anniversary is so lacking is because originally what we know as "Into The Light" was the planned celebration. But then they had to push back Final Shape and realized they were FUCKED. Edit: Also, fun fact: The chest at the end of Battleground: Cosmodrome (not Psi Op) seems to count.

When the 10th anniversary launched, I was expecting the old guns with new perks. I was also expecting doing g a mission from d1 and maybe get new guns. Not grind armor in an are only to get 35% in 2 hours. In 4 hours I got 49%. I got the kills enemies easy. Encrypting engrams only count in that area? I just stopped and did other stuff.

Honestly, what sucks is that I couldn't even get the ornament armor!! I was able to get the actual armor itself from The pale heart but I couldn't even go and collect the freaking armor ornament and I really wanted it. All together the 10th anniversary was depressing and disappointing and had literally zero effort and this shows how much effort Bungie actually puts into Destiny anymore. This is the big door opener for a lot of people or it should be

Now imagine doing skywatch where parts of your inventory are full so when you pick up that certain weapon/armor it goes straight to the postmaster and doesn't count towards the triumph.... Yeah that happened to me at least 10 times.

The thing is, this isn't any sort of meta punishment for the loot cave farmers because Bungie themselves said they never viewed it as an exploit. They only removed it because of how many false reports kept flooding in from other players who felt it WAS cheating. So this whole grind is really moreso them paying homage to the loot cave... in a really tone deaf way.

It is funny that the time line mission triumph is called lost time like bungie was probably like "let's make fun of the fact we sun set all these expansions the community will love it" when in reality it just reminds players all the shit they paid for and then bungie took away. Finished the painfull grind, i understand the layoffs but you could have made fun triumphs, like do vog with the armor, do grasp with the armor ( as a reference to the loot cave). This is just we dont give a fudge....

It lost me at the title, requiring rank 8 requires Final Shape progression, so the title is paywalled. From my perspective, the entire "anniversary" for players like me who've been reluctant to give Bungie money this year is a vanilla inspired transmog set. Underwhelmed to say the least.

I dont mind much how this Anniversary Event went; especially for casual players, but I feel that they could have made the Gear more fun to collect. Example - 1 Gear earned from each different Activity. Helm - Grandmaster Nightfall Arms - Crucible Weekly Reward Chest - Gambit Weekly Reward Legs - Any Dungeon Clear (Full) Class Item - Any Raid Clear (Full) And once you have all the Gears, do the new Dungeon (once it's released) WITH the Gears equipped, to get special Ornaments. Maybe Ornaments that matches with Icebreaker? Or just plain ol' Elite Guardian appearance? Heck, maybe Ornaments that makes you look like the Vanguard Commanders. Titans with Zavala-like Armor. Warlocks with Ikora-like Armor. Hunters with Cayde-6-like Armor. At least, that is how I envision a Decade Anniversary Event to be like.
