Ok!! We get that some of you don't like Destiny as a whole. Fine. So don't pre-order, purchase on first day or any other day after that for that matter! I've never understood the "hate watching" phenomenon myself. But to each his or her own, right? If you feel you got burned (and who hasn't gotten burned at some point) leave it alone! An example for me would be what i call "watercooler" tv shows like The Walking Dead and God help us...Game of Thrones! Watched a few episodes, saw they weren't very good and haven't looked back. That said, i don't troll the shows or their fans in anyway, online or otherwise, because instead of wasting my time on something i don't like, i spend the time finding things i do!

Ever since the Spartan Laser stole my heart in Halo 3, I've wanted Bungie to do more with giant flippin' lasers. Sleeper Simulant performed wonderfully in that role in D1, and it looks like I'm getting that wish for D2 as well. It may not perform very well once we actually get our hands on it... but, hell, it's a giant laser beam. It's impossible to _not_ have fun while you're using it. Edit: Also, I'm looking forward to everyone running around like Ghostbusters. Although that name might not be very appropriate in the context of Destiny, come to think of it...

I wish they would add a unique death animation for enemies who are killed with this. Something like them freezing and shattering or freezing and becoming a statue that you can walk up to and melee and it shatters. Even something minimal like the area that you were shooting on the enemy's body freezing would be cool. Idk, it just looks silly seeing the flamethrower guys exploding when they're being shot with something that should do the exact opposite.

Danny Rolly I'm not a 12 year old kid, I preordered destiny 1 like a lot of people and I loved the game and have hundreds of hours in play time. Unlike most people who were disappointed in the game I really enjoyed what the game did have to offer and I loved what the dlcs added. I preordered this game with the thought in mind that this game will at least have the same mechanics that I really enjoyed but with new weapons armor and game modes to try out. I think that preorder bonuses just make all of that a little more awesome because it is an exclusive(at least for a few months) that I get to enjoy using in the game.

Really curious as to how this behaves differently from the average Auto Rifle. The shooting mechanics seems to behave just the same.
