I’m a Titan main and I just love how the titan is skating all slow and steady and then you have the hunter just freaking YEEETing itself off a cliff..

you can do it with titan too, if you can do it in a one frame window with bubble.

All controller users try press for shatterdive instead of hold makes it easier to learn and easy to consistently do

the Hunter's Shatter Skate doesn't require you to sprint to the edge You can just stand on the edge and do the combo So it's much easier on console

@@G-plusplus are you on console? you need to get the sword out and while the Eager Edge perk is active, jump and do Shatterdive and Heavy Attack at the same time. It is best if you change your settings for the Shatterdive so that you just press the button instead of holding it. This setting is called "Air Dive Ability" If you still have the controller settings on normal you can also quickly swipe from the jump button to the shatterdive button

If you have a mouse with side buttons, that works well, if you don't use E for interact or don't use Q for nades both of those buttons are good too. In general I just recommend not using your thumb or pinky to activate it since those are responsible for sprint and jump.

For some reason I can't seem to pull of the shatterdive + jumping part. I always just end up shatterdiving into the ground.

Your inputs need to be closer together! As soon as your hunter comes off the ledge press the buttons jump and shatter dive simultaneously for your first few tries just do the heavy and jump + shatter at the same time until you get one to learn the timing

What is the ideal setup for weapon swapping on controller? I have been using the default option, which means holding a button to swap to heavy, but I find that a bit tricky to work with. I also tried double tapping, but it also felt slightly awkward.

I've adjusted my settings so the D-Pad down is the Heavy Weapon And I set the emotes to double press So you have 4 extra buttons

Awesome, can I just add something? As a hunter, the sprinting isn't necessary so as long as there's an incline. This makes it easier to perform

I’m on Controller and can’t seem to get it to work. I remapped the Air Dive to Single button press. All I get after sword powered swing is a shatter dive😢

I had the same problem. But you need to swap like the instant you swing or it fucks it up from what I've seen

This will likely sound like a very dumb question but how do you perform a light attack with a sword vs a heavy attack? It'll sound even dumber when you hear I've been playing d2 a lot for a year now lol. I feel like im maybe missing something? as whether i tap the trigger or hold it down I get the same heavy attack with all swords and always have done. I thought id investigate earlier out of curiosity but cant find an answer anywhere

The right bumper is a light attack. Right trigger for heavy attack. If that's what's you're asking
